“My son had a fun and exciting birthday celebration here. The instructors were great. They really kept the kids engaged. Highly recommended.“
“We recently had a kids birthday party at Edge. I cannot say enough nice things about this place. Sensei Eric is extremely talented at keeping a group of 5 year olds engaged and interested the whole time. The parents got to watch the kids during the class and multiple parents told me how much they appreciated his teaching style and how much fun their kids had.I love that on top of regular classes, they also have summer camps.“

Township of Washington“Eric was the first black belt I had the privilege of working with. He was one of my training partners back in 2006 when we were both fighting MMA. He taught me valuable moves and concepts that I still use today. He’s a great teacher, a wonderful person and an honorable family man. If you are in the area Loyalty BJJ is the place to be!“
“I had such a great experience training at this place. The instructors are fantastic and so patient. People training there are always friendly and helping each other. This martial arts school does not only train your body but also train your spirit!“
“I have practiced kumdo off and on for a few years at different locations, including in Korea. Of all the Masters who has taught me, Master Min is by far the best. Not only does he (and Master Lee) stress fundamentals of kumdo, which can easily be translated into any phases of life, but also - and more importantly - takes time to explain why. He and Master Lee are very knowledgeable and very personable.Although my current schedule doesn't allow me to practice now, I recently enrolled my two kids and have been very happy with this decision. My son, in particular, within a short period of time, has gained self-confidence. Martial arts can be monotonous at times, especially for kids. Master Min recognizes this and incorporates fun games that enhances kumdo skills for all kids to enjoy. Thank you, SMK!“

“Incredible! Everyone here, from the instructors, to the owners are humble and want to help you out. I knew I wanted to be active but was not wanting to go to a traditional gym. Glad I stopped by and signed up. My favorite part is there are other people here in the same boat as me, looking to make a change and be around like minded individuals. There’s no pressure and you are never forced into contact or anything that makes you uncomfortable. It’s nice when your “no face hits” boundary is respected. 5 stars!“

His approach with the younger kids is nothing short of spectacular. He is a very effective teacher and is extremely patient with little kids as they learn and always encouraging and kind when they need a little extra push. He teaches the kids the discipline, respect, and taekwondo skills they need to progress with a great combination of soft encouragement, direct instruction, and humor that keeps the kids engaged and happy while they are learning and having fun. The classes here are lively, supportive, and productive.“

23-07 24th Ave, Queens“Strong is a great gym with great teachers. I have been taking the adult kickboxing classes for over a year and I love it! The gym provides a safe, friendly atmosphere and it is amazing what a great workout you get in one hour! Students range from 16 to 60, men and women.I had worked out in other ways over the years but had never done kickboxing before. It is definitely challenging at first but in 2-3 weeks, you get in the groove for both the conditioning and the kick-boxing parts. And it's way more fun than programs like Orange Theory or just lifting weights.I highly recommend Strong Martial Arts. It really is a great workout option for all skill levels.“

My son attends Taekwondo and Brazilian Jujitsu and I have participated in the Get Fit class. All of the staff and owner are beyond what you could ask for for your child. They teach martial arts and life lessons. Each child must be respectful and helpful at home as well as mastering techniques to move up a belt. This experience has been one that will leave a lifelong impact on my son. We are forever grateful to Master Doug and his entire staff. I highly recommend this place!“
