Eric was the first black belt I had the privilege of working with. He was one of my training partners back in 2006 when we were both fighting MMA. He taught me valuable moves and concepts that I still use today. He’s a great teacher, a wonderful person and an honorable family man. If you are in the area Loyalty BJJ is the place to be!
We have our 5 year old daughter and 9 year old daughter take classes here, they both love it. Erik is a master at his skill and makes it fun for the kids to learn jiu jitsu. He also teaches the kids respect and confidence! We love it here! Awesome place for a fun birthday party too!
Can not say enough great things. Professor Erick Tavares is a class act, welcoming & knowledgeable are some of the traits that make him such a fantastic instructor. If you are waiting to try a class, don't.. just go, you will not regret it.
