“Started this when I was in my late 30's. Ton of adults in my group, many women. Super diverse and inclusive. I lost weight. Love this place. Super great to finish the day here punching something after a day at work :)Highly recommend“
“Master Lee is a phenomenal mentor and teacher. My 5 year old son has been taking his class for 3 months and is so much stronger, more focused, and disciplined than ever! My son was so excited one month after class when he was able to do the monkey bars at the playground. Master Lee is tough and sets high expectations. Earning belts is strictly based on merit and the kids feel so proud to achieve. This class is great for all ages of girls and boys. My daughter will be next as soon as she’s old enough. I highly recommend Master Ho Lee if you’re looking for Tae Kwon Do for your kids. I have nothing but positive things to say about my experience so far.“
“My son had a fun and exciting birthday celebration here. The instructors were great. They really kept the kids engaged. Highly recommended.“

Township of Washington“Eric was the first black belt I had the privilege of working with. He was one of my training partners back in 2006 when we were both fighting MMA. He taught me valuable moves and concepts that I still use today. He’s a great teacher, a wonderful person and an honorable family man. If you are in the area Loyalty BJJ is the place to be!“

“I had such a great experience training at this place. The instructors are fantastic and so patient. People training there are always friendly and helping each other. This martial arts school does not only train your body but also train your spirit!“
“I have practiced kumdo off and on for a few years at different locations, including in Korea. Of all the Masters who has taught me, Master Min is by far the best. Not only does he (and Master Lee) stress fundamentals of kumdo, which can easily be translated into any phases of life, but also - and more importantly - takes time to explain why. He and Master Lee are very knowledgeable and very personable.Although my current schedule doesn't allow me to practice now, I recently enrolled my two kids and have been very happy with this decision. My son, in particular, within a short period of time, has gained self-confidence. Martial arts can be monotonous at times, especially for kids. Master Min recognizes this and incorporates fun games that enhances kumdo skills for all kids to enjoy. Thank you, SMK!“
“Incredible! Everyone here, from the instructors, to the owners are humble and want to help you out. I knew I wanted to be active but was not wanting to go to a traditional gym. Glad I stopped by and signed up. My favorite part is there are other people here in the same boat as me, looking to make a change and be around like minded individuals. There’s no pressure and you are never forced into contact or anything that makes you uncomfortable. It’s nice when your “no face hits” boundary is respected. 5 stars!“

139 Fulton St #706, New York“I went to Square Circle for a few years. I came in with absolutely no idea on how to kickbox let alone Muay Thai kickboxing. Not only did I learn kickboxing but I learned Brazilian Jujitsu as well. The instructors in both Kickboxing and BJJ are experienced fighters who professionally have completed in professional tournaments. I have made friends that I still talk to and have stayed in contact with. The school itself is well kept with the equipment and floor being sprayed and sanitized after each class. Cleanliness at a gym is utmost important and, in this facility, you will find it to be very well kept. The atmosphere during class is high energy and friendly. The instructors do an excellent job in welcoming new people and are attentive to their skill level. There is this tight bond that everyone has with each other before, during and after class. Whether you are an experienced kickboxer or have experience with BJJ or you want to learn either one I would highly recommend this school. Its friendly, knowledgeable, clean, the instructors are well experienced and the people who come to train are very diverse they come from all walks of life.“

33 Chestnut St, Ridgewood“My daughter has been attending the "Pee Wee" classes with Master Kim for the past few years and she loves it.I am beyond impressed with how well Master Kim consistently works with young children to develop their confidence and Taekwondo skills by creating a safe and supportive class environment. His approach with the younger kids is nothing short of spectacular. He is a very effective teacher and is extremely patient with little kids as they learn and always encouraging and kind when they need a little extra push. He teaches the kids the discipline, respect, and taekwondo skills they need to progress with a great combination of soft encouragement, direct instruction, and humor that keeps the kids engaged and happy while they are learning and having fun. The classes here are lively, supportive, and productive.“

23-07 24th Ave, Queens“Strong is a great gym with great teachers. I have been taking the adult kickboxing classes for over a year and I love it! The gym provides a safe, friendly atmosphere and it is amazing what a great workout you get in one hour! Students range from 16 to 60, men and women.I had worked out in other ways over the years but had never done kickboxing before. It is definitely challenging at first but in 2-3 weeks, you get in the groove for both the conditioning and the kick-boxing parts. And it's way more fun than programs like Orange Theory or just lifting weights.I highly recommend Strong Martial Arts. It really is a great workout option for all skill levels.“
