“Writing a review for my mother in law who lives in South Orange. She has a large colonial w/ a 3 stall detached carriage house. R & G replaced both. She wanted me to write a review to let everyone know how excellent they were. They were very professional, timely, informative, and very patient with the process of her trying to get her solar panels temporarily removed. I myself was also involved in the estimate process and got to meet and speak with owner who did the site survey and he was great. The estimate was fairly priced and thorough.The roof looks spectacular. My mother in law is very happy with everything. We would both highly recommend them to anyone looking to get their roof worked on!“
“Magnolia was the perfect choice. The estimates and project schedule were on target (Thank you RJ). The Project Manager was responsive, patient and professional(Thanks Bill). He took the times to address all my concerns and (text or calls). The crew were respectful, thorough and also professional (Thanks to Thomas and crew). Every contracting crew that came in was thorough with their respective tasks. They provided status updates at end of the day and respected our minimal noise request while our autistic child was home. The project had minor surprises (expected with an old house), but they were all manageable. All the vendors provided by Magnolia, delivered on their promises and help us obtain the kitchen of our expectations. We are very delighted with the final product and will contact Magnolia on our next project. We recommend their services to anybody looking for an outstanding final product. “It’s normal to feel anxious when a company or person new to you starts working to fix something on your property. I did which is why I am writing this review. I called a company called NextGen to fix two leaking skylights on my roof. A previous company has misinstallded them and they were leaking badly with each rainfall. The NextGen service representative , Ken Duci, came and was so open. So helpful, that I immediately trusted him. He and his workers took one day to remove the skylights which I had bought new but which had been damaged. Ken and NextGen did a fine and fastidious job and while I felt completely satisfied, they promised to come back immediately if I should have any problems. I doubt very much that I will have problems , although I regret than I won’t see them again until I need any other work done. “We recently had our roof replaced on our house and 2 sheds as well as a skylight. From start to finish we could not be happier with every interaction with the company. Ed, the salesman was so personable and professional. He showed up when he said he would and did not try to sell us anything more than we wanted, in fact we added on the 2 sheds on our property to redo as well. He explained everything so well, was patient with my questions and was very helpful. The crew showed up the day we had scheduled and worked through the entire day until it was dark. I did not think they were going to get everything done in just one day but they surprised me and did. They worked really hard! They even did a great job with clean up and were all so courteous. I would highly recommend them without any hesitation.“

“Jeronimo was responsive, punctual and so knowledgeable. I thought the gutters were leaking but he quickly found that the underlayment on my 80 year old slate needed replacement on one section of the roof. He carefully removed each slate, added new underlayment and then replaced each slate in its original position cutting new ones where necessary. He pointed out problems from previous repairs. What great work! I will use JCX for all my slate maintenance in the future.“

“Absolutely wonderful! Quick response to my initial inquiry through a Google search. When I told Teo what I needed done, again, the response was quick along with the cost of the job. We set a date and time for my repair. Teo's "guys" arrived a little before the scheduled time and I also received a text alerting me of their arrival . The guys surveyed the job, spoke directly with Teo and clarified with me exactly what they would do. Then they went to work quickly and efficiently. Teo invoiced me electronically and payment was a breeze. Teo's guys were friendly, kind and hard workers, finishing the job in great time. They took the time to walk me around the job to make sure it was done to my satisfaction (and it exceeded my expectations) before cleaning everything up and leaving. If I could give this company 10 stars I would - I was just so very impressed with everything from start to finish. I will definitely keep them for future jobs and to refer friends to!“

“A few years ago, we had a leak in our kitchen after a heavy rain. A friend recommended Blue Nail. We contacted them, one of the reps came out, checked the roof, going into the attic plus sending up drones taking pictures. What impressed us at that time was his response to the leak - rather than telling us we needed a new roof immediately, he stated "we had a few good years left on this roof and it was probably just the storm since it blew sideways." So here we are in Jan 2024, another rain and windstorm but this time we lost many shingles on our 25-year-old roof. So now the "few good years" are gone, and Blue Nail came immediately to mind. We were able to make an appt within a few days, and got started on the project of roof and gutter replacements almost immediately, roof replaced in one day, gutters replaced two days later. No muss, no fuss. All individuals we dealt with were a pleasure. We're so glad our friend recommended Blue Nail so highly.“
