“Let me start by saying that I almost never write reviews. In this case I felt that sharing my story might help others who have the same types of issues and want some much needed assistance towards healing.
I have had back a knee issues my entire adult life. Since 2019 those issues had progressively gotten worse. I had shooting pain down both my legs, from my hip to my ankles. I was falling all the time due to nerve issues in my lower back. I did not want to go anywhere. I was exhausted all of the time because I wasn’t sleeping because of the pain. I was so busy working and taking care of my family that I was not making the time to address the pain until I had no choice.
I have been to other providers in the past. Some were helpful and for a short time I would feel better. Others literally were not listening to me.
In January of 2025, after a lot of research, I made an appointment to see Dr. Veera. At my first visit Dr. Veera did a full assessment and listened to what I was telling her. She also asked what is your primary goal. It was so simple “I just want to sleep” I told her.
Before seeing Dr Veera, my issues became so severe that I was not sleeping at all due to the pain, I would walk through my kitchen and my spine would shift ever so slightly and It would hit a nerve and I would fall to the floor. For years I also suspected that something was damaged in my knees and most providers I saw just sort of dismissed it. I also love snacks, which wreaking havoc and causing a lot of inflammation and making everything worse.
Within a few weeks of my first visit with I was sleeping through the night with no pain shooting down my legs. I haven’t had a fall since my first visit. I finally got an MRI of my knee. There is a tear and signs of arthritis. I’ve also cut back on the snacks and am feeling like a new person.
All of the issues that I went in to discuss are being addressed, and I’m making progress. I’m able to go for walks again. Six months ago I didn’t want to walk across a room.
Different methods and treatments are used to address your issues. It’s not just chiropractic as one would typically think of it.
After making some progress I was given some simple exercises to do at home to help increase my strength. I’m slowly getting back to the active person I once was. I now have the team at Optimum Health Chiropractic to help me as I continue on this journey.

“Dr. P is the best chiropractor I have ever been to. In full disclosure, I've known Dr. P since college, but that is what led me to her care in the first place.

Last summer my wife was dealing with herniated discs in her neck that were causing her extreme pain and discomfort. After getting two scary options for treatment from the orthopedic surgeons, I decided to give Dr. P a call knowing that she could at least lead me in the right direction for other treatment options to help my wife.

I hadn't talked to Dr. P in years, but I remember Dr. P as being kind, gentle, and bubbly from the days I knew her in college. I knew that I could trust her for advice on what to do next in order to avoid the invasive surgeries that the orthopedics had suggested. She told me that she may be able to help my wife through chiropractic care and so our journey to healing began.

This was almost a year ago now. My wife no longer suffers from the pain caused by her herniated discs. We still get adjustments for maintenance appointments now one or two times a month, but it is something we look forward to. I even started to get treatment from Dr. P in the meantime. I've been pretty abusive to my body as a skateboarder and really active person my whole life. I didn't realize how out of wack my body was. Every time I go in for treatment It is a reminder to me to take care of myself and I always leave the office feeling relaxed and refreshed. It's like going in for a body tune up.

Dr. P's personality is what I remembered most from the days back in school and what led me to seek her advice. She was, and still is, always kind and caring. This led me to trust her opinion in the first place, which led us to trust her for treatment. It was really an amazing experience seeing my wife healing over the course of a couple months.

“I dare all parents to try out Coombs Chiropractics. Our experience here has been phenomenal. Our twin babies were born at 34 weeks with a c section and were in the NICU for a month. Upon bringing them home we’ve experienced challenging feedings, burping, naps, changing diapers and even trying to do some face to face play time. They were very uncomfortable. While crying they would crouch and get beat red. Also we noticed they would get stiff while trying to change a diaper. While trying to nap or sleep for the night it would take them a long time to settle down. All we would hear is grunting followed with a cry and when we would look over they would be in a ball.
