“For months I had been going to traditional physical therapy for an ongoing hip/glute injury and my symptoms were being managed, but never fully resolved. “I’m a believer!<br><br>Injured: c5, c6 herniated disc<br>Date Jan 31, 2024<br>Condition: I couldn’t sleep for over a month and couldn’t hold my head up straight<br><br>It took about 5 months for me to heal through therapy. I was okay for 2 months, then the pain came back<br><br>This time I was out for 2 and a half weeks and was working through the pain. I was afraid I was going to need surgery<br><br>Dr. Tom looked at my X-ray and the results showed that my neck was curved the opposite way that it should which was causing me so much pain.<br><br>Dr. Tom listened to my concerns but told me that there’s light at the end of the tunnel.<br><br>He told me about his rehab program and I was all in on trying it. I was willing to try anything before I considered surgery<br><br>Dr Tom advised to stick with the program for 3 months straight without missing. I started Sept 1, 2024 and did it everyday until the end of the year (so 4 months straight).<br><br>I don’t remember when I was pain free but I was able to do activities again, have a good nights sleep and best of all very minimal pain<br><br>I may feel some discomfort here and there but no where near what I originally encountered.<br><br>I haven’t stopped the exercises!<br><br>It’s February 2025 now, and I do the exercises every other day now (1 day on and 1 day off). Sometimes I’d do 2 days on and 1 off depending on the week.<br><br>But I continue the exercises mainly because of Dr Tom guidance (his recommendation) but also to keep the body and neck area loose.<br><br>I haven’t taken another X-ray so I can’t say if the curvature of the neck has improved, but I feel amazing.<br><br>I thank you Dr. Tom<br><br>I hope my story helps anyone interested in trying the program”
