“As a first time mom, I was extremely careful about choosing a chiropractor for my newborn. I did a long and thorough search specifically for someone experienced in treating infants, and after reading so many great reviews for Circle of Life Chiropractic, I decided to give them a try. I am so glad that I did.
When I first called, my daughter was only about 4 weeks old. We scheduled the next available appointment, which was about 10 days later. When we walked into the office for the first time, there was a small blackboard at check-in welcoming my daughter by her first name as a new patient. It was such a small gesture, but it immediately made me feel like they remembered us from my initial phone call and were genuinely expecting her. As a nervous first-time mom bringing such a tiny baby in for treatment, that meant a lot to me.
During her initial evaluation, the doctor took so much time with us. She asked about my delivery, how and how often we were feeding her, what pacifiers we were using, the symptoms we were seeing, and so much more. She thoroughly examined my daughter and explained everything she was doing and what she was finding. My daughter seemed instantly comfortable with her, and my husband and I felt the same way. She also identified cheek ties and gave us exercises and things we could work on at home.
At the end of the visit, we were given a care plan with everything clearly explained, including pricing. I immediately knew we were going to move forward with it. The doctor even personally reached out the following day to check in and see how my daughter was doing, which meant so much to me.
We have now been coming here for about 6 weeks, and for the last 2–3 weeks, our daughter has been a completely different baby. When we first came in, our pediatrician had diagnosed her with colic and reflux. She would cry from practically the moment she opened her eyes until she fell back asleep. We were exhausted, desperate, and willing to try anything that might help her feel better. There were days when I truly felt like there was no light at the end of the tunnel. Now there is. Our baby is happy. She can be awake and content. She smiles, looks around, and enjoys being with us without constantly crying. After weeks of feeling helpless watching our newborn struggle, I can’t even put into words what it means to finally see her comfortable and happy.
I had never received chiropractic treatment myself before this, so I really had no idea what to expect, especially with an infant. The doctor explained everything in detail from the very beginning, and I have always felt informed, confident, and comfortable with my daughter’s care.
We came to Circle of Life desperate for something that could help our baby, and I am so thankful we decided to move forward with treatment. If you’re a parent struggling with a colicky newborn and feel like you’ve tried everything, I cannot recommend this office enough.
