I was suffering from right elbow and shoulder pain for a year. Going to a traditional orthopedic practice, they diagnosed the problem and advised cortisone injections for the elbow and epidural injection for my shoulder. These had little to no effect. I was offerded additional shots or surgery if the initial shots did not work. In March I began an alternate remedy seeing Dr. Pakenham for chiropractic treatment. After 5 months of treatments, going from twice a week to every 2 weeks, the elbow pain is gone and the shoulder pain has become minor, allowing me to do all my activities. Dr. P is the best chiropractor I have ever been to. In full disclosure, I've known Dr. P since college, but that is what led me to her care in the first place.
Last summer my wife was dealing with herniated discs in her neck that were causing her extreme pain and discomfort.
