“Service: DECK REPAIR
Outstanding experience from start to finish. After speaking with several contractors and getting multiple opinions and quotes for a structural issue with our deck, choosing Ivan and Top Quality Home Renovation was absolutely the right decision.
What stood out most was Ivan’s honesty, thoroughness, and fairness. He carefully assessed the deck rather than trying to sell us the most expensive solution. In fact, after discovering that some of the originally anticipated work wasn’t necessary, he revised his own quote downward—something that immediately demonstrated his integrity.
The work itself was completed in one day, with excellent attention to detail. During the job, Ivan discovered additional deterioration involving two joists that wasn’t obvious beforehand. He showed us the problem, reinforced and repaired both areas properly, and charged a very reasonable amount for the additional work rather than taking advantage of an unexpected issue.
Communication was excellent, pricing was transparent, and the finished work looks solid and professional. Most importantly, the deck feels significantly more stable after the reinforcement.
After comparing our experience with several other contractors, Ivan distinguished himself through integrity, practical expertise, fair pricing, and quality workmanship. It’s refreshing to work with someone who focuses on what actually needs to be done rather than maximizing the size of the job.
