In fact, after discovering that some of the originally anticipated work wasn’t necessary, he revised his own quote downward—something that immediately demonstrated his integrity.
The work itself was completed in one day, with excellent attention to detail. During the job, Ivan discovered additional deterioration involving two joists that wasn’t obvious beforehand. He showed us the problem, reinforced and repaired both areas properly, and charged a very reasonable amount for the additional work rather than taking advantage of an unexpected issue.
Communication was excellent, pricing was transparent, and the finished work looks solid and professional. Most importantly, the deck feels significantly more stable after the reinforcement.
