“HIGHLY recommended. I came out because I had a leak way up on my roof in the vent stack. The guys came on time and went way up there and fixed it really, really well. They showed me photos of the old cover and it was in ruins. I also saw how they did the new one and by their work I could tell they were really knowledgeable on how to work on roofing. I asked about other parts of the roof, where they could have charged me more, but instead gave me some free advice and inspected the roof and patched some nail pops at no extra charge. I am going to hire them to do more just because they did such a great job with this small project. I am confident they do quality work, and I have an eye for how things are done. I am actually contacting them right now to do some more work for me. A very smart way to do business, I think this company is going to go very far.“

“I used NJAHC to install a new roof two years ago. Although I rarely leave reviews, I left one at that time commending the work of the entire team. The staff was superb, and their service, efficiency, workmanship and overall demeanor were exceptional.Following a major rainstorm last week, we had a small water problem with unknown origin. When I left a message with NJAHC mentioning the issue (and that we had plumbers looking into its origin), not only did I receive a call back within hours, but Jon (the owner) came to my home to explore -- he went above and beyond what I would expect of our roof installer by exploring our attic to basement to try and identify the origin of the problem.At this moment, we have not yet identified the issue, but both our plumbing company (Air Group) and Jon have been outstanding. Jon indicated that he "hopes it is a roof issue", because if it is, he knows that he can easily solve any problem.Unfortunately, this type of service and accountability is rare in the service industry. Roofing has been the best I have ever had, to date, with a member of the trades. As a woman with a background in building science, far too many of my experiences with tradespeople that are men have been assuming my ignorance, being condescended to, being cut off and spoken over, and, sadly, receiving estimates from those that I have learned should not be in construction at all due to their lack of knowledge and often combined with an ingrained work culture to just get it done fast, instead of get it done right.Cafo is different. He was on time to the estimate, he was highly respectful, he was friendly, he was knowledgeable, he listened to me and even apologized for accidently cutting me off at one point, and it is highly apparent that he truly loves what he does.While he had an employee accompany him, HE climbed my roof himself to inspect and came back to me with an honest assessment and quote on the spot. Since I had already received quotes from other roofers and experienced their - less than desirable - service, I knew I had found who I was looking for to care for my hundred year old gorgeous slate roof that I was blessed to finally find in my new home. He got the job.They were on time to the job, they did excellent work, they cleaned up, he even came down to tell me he noticed there was a minor issue with the flashing on our chimney that he had not noticed and so he replaced it all with brand new flashing FOR FREE. I am confident that anyone learning under him is getting the knowledge needed to do quality work in a country where that is few and far between these days. “A few years ago, we had a leak in our kitchen after a heavy rain. A friend recommended Blue Nail. We contacted them, one of the reps came out, checked the roof, going into the attic plus sending up drones taking pictures. What impressed us at that time was his response to the leak - rather than telling us we needed a new roof immediately, he stated "we had a few good years left on this roof and it was probably just the storm since it blew sideways." So here we are in Jan 2024, another rain and windstorm but this time we lost many shingles on our 25-year-old roof. So now the "few good years" are gone, and Blue Nail came immediately to mind. We were able to make an appt within a few days, and got started on the project of roof and gutter replacements almost immediately, roof replaced in one day, gutters replaced two days later. No muss, no fuss. All individuals we dealt with were a pleasure. We're so glad our friend recommended Blue Nail so highly.“
