“I cannot recommend John Soares enough. If I could give him 10 stars I would. Before working with John, taking our dog, Dylan, for a walk was a nightmare for me. He would go berserk and pull on his leash whenever we came across people and other dogs. Since he is so strong, he caused me to fall on two occasions. John is an exceptional dog trainer who has transformed our energetic rescue dog into a well behaved companion. His clear instructions and positive reinforcement methods made training enjoyable for both us and Dylan, leading to noticeable improvements in Dylan’s behavior. Now taking Dylan for walks is a pleasant experience. John’s gentle manner, love of dogs and affinity towards them really makes him an ideal trainer. John possesses a deep understanding of canine behavior and training methods. He is patient, observant, empathic, and skilled at communication with both dogs and their human owners. “Good Dog Pet Training is just the best! I have been working with them for over 2 years with my golden retriever. It is clear from the second you walk through the doors that everyone there truly loves their jobs and the dogs they work with! Group classes are a great place to learn new skills and practice old ones in a safe and welcoming environment. It can be really nerve-wracking leaving your pet with someone else... from daycare to boarding, I always know my dog is in the best hands! Anne and her team are highly trained, knowledgeable and my dog goes in with a wagging tail excited to see his favorite people. Huge emphasis on training the dog in front of you, not a one size fits all approach!

“This is the first time I put my dog in boarding after 11 years as my dog sitter wasn’t available. A friend recommended Mahwah Groom and Board. I had him go for a few trials before my big trip. Both times, he came home happy. My trip was almost two weeks. They sent me pictures and photos of Dexter while I was away. He looked happy and I was reassured that he was in good hands. “We are so thankful to Dr. Duhr and staff. We had been to a different Vet Hospital 4 times and they couldn't find out what was wrong with our girl . We went to Dr. Duhr and he ran tests and found immediately that she has cancer tumors and he put her on medication and she is doing so much better. She is moving around more and is comfortable with the medication. We know she doesn't have long but she will not be in Pain or Sad now. We are so grateful. “Tanner's is Finn's FAVORITE place to be when not at home!! He goes there for daycare and as soon as I turn onto Hopper Ave. he's so anxious to get there that he cry/barks until I get him out of the car at the facility The staff is always friendly, kind and very professional with both the animals and humans. I've had collies for 40 years and have always been very particular regarding their care. When I leave Finn at Tanner's I am confident that he is in the best hands possible (besides mine) and he will be safe and have a great day playing. Thank you Tanner's for providing my dog with such a wonderful experience!!“
