Her confidence made me feel at ease and the finished result was exactly what I had hoped it would be. I’m so in love with the way my brows look! I have been doing Wood gravity colonics religiously, for over a year, and personally find them to be the most effective healing method out there to help eliminate built up toxins and shift the body into a state of homeostasis.I have only been to two different Wood gravity colonic centers…Colon Hygiene Therapy in East Rutherford and Lotus Sky in Montclair. I was a regular at Colon Hygiene Therapy, getting weekly sessions for over a year straight, and recently decided to try Lotus Sky.Lotus Sky gave off a great first impression. There was ample parking right outside the building, the waiting area was peaceful, clean, and decorated beautifully, with dimmed lights, soothing music, as well as a pretty outside seating area. Overall, Lotus Sky gave off more of a spa-like feeling rather than a white sterile space.I’ve had two appointments so far and experienced no wait time. In fact, I was taken in several minutes before my session time. I was promptly greeted by the colon hydrotherapist, Hayat, and we ended up having a great conversation where I learned a bit about her and why she chose this profession. It is clear that Hayat’s main goal is to help others heal because of her deep and personal appreciation for colonics.Hayat has been a colon hydrotherapist for nearly 18 years and her experience truly shows! She really took her time with me during my sessions and the exchange of energies was very positive. Her presence was nurturing because I felt like she genuinely cared for my health and well being. The most important point I want to make in this review is that, because of how thorough Hayat’s sessions are, I don’t feel the need to get a colonic on a weekly basis, as I was previously doing. Unlike many of my experiences at the other facility, there was zero sense of urgency or rushing. I felt completely at ease and relaxed, knowing that Hayat would take the time she needed in order for me to have a thorough session.Hayat’s method was the most thorough, gentle, and effective I’ve ever experienced. I left there feeling lighter and calmer, and felt even better the day after. To top it all off, Hayat has a lot of knowledge to share, which I very much appreciate. I heard about this nail salon through some friends, so decided to check it out. The salon is very clean and welcoming. I decided to get a french gel mani from Jessie, which turned out perfectly. She takes her time and really cares about making her clients happy. The pedi was very relaxing and I definitely recommend adding that to your service, if you plan on coming here.

I hired Bloombox Flowers for my daughter's baby shower. Veronica and Angelica are so easy to work with and clearly love what they do. Their bike and cart display were a fun addition to our celebration. The guests loved the idea of making and taking home their own bouquet. The flowers were so beautiful, fresh and colorful and thoughtfully chosen based on my input. I love that they source them from NJ farms when possible. I couldn't be happier with my decision to choose Bloombox.
My husband and I dined here for a day-after Valentine's celebration. Our 7:00 reservation allowed us to be seated right away. The playlist was stellar. It was all the music I grew up listening to as a kid, and it made me feel at home. McKenzie was our server and she was incredibly professional, kind, and attentive. The menu has so many great choices, but the specials shouldn't be slept on either! Here's what we had: Appetizers: -Brussels sprouts salad with sliced apple, marinated feta, roasted squash, candied pecans, quinoa and tossed in a vinaigrette - Kabocha squash ravioli in a braised beef and peanut ragu, crispy eggplant and a peanut-green bean crumble. Entrées: -Flat iron steak in a mustard-sherry au poive sauce, carmelized onions, and potato churritos -Fresh cavatelli in an escargot sauce, shelled escargot, topped with a parsley butter crumb - Side of sautéed wild mushrooms with sage and citrus Dessert: -Orange and cardamom olive oil cake, assorted coffee and tea. The food was stunning. Every bite was a hit and truly made with love. Such thoughtful flavor combinations and interesting applications, all the while cooked perfectly. We had the opportunity to speak with Beverly, and we learned so much about her passions for the industry and the pride she has for the products she creates. We will certainly be back again and again!

I came across this wonderful place because I followed my stylist Micah!! Micah is an absolute GEM! I have curly hair and it took me almost 20 years to finally find someone who knew how to help me handle my curls. She is so patient and kind and knowledgeable. I can recall a time that a color I chose wasn't really right for me and she stayed with me deepening the glaze until I was happy! It was my own fault and she didn't have to spend her evening after hours trying to give me what I couldn't explain. She ended up understanding my non-sense and it came out perfect!! It's so so hard to find someone who has the 2 most important qualities....knowing what they are doing, and someone you so easily vibe with. I found that in Micah!! She truly is the greatest of all time! I would follow her anywhere she would ever go!!! You can't go wrong with her! If you've been struggling to find someone to help you with your curls, someone who knows how to cut it without leaving you looking like a bell definitely try Micah! You WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!!

Came here to get my hair fixed before MDW and it turned out great. I think my barber was Andrew, though I can't recall with certainty at this point. He understood my issues and I always check to see if they have experience with Asian hair before going. Everything turned out great and I really like how my hair grew out from the cut so will be returning. Been looking for a solid place every time I have to travel to Montclair for work and looks like I found it. They are friendly guys and overall, a great atmosphere.
Mahir is a great barber and Montclair's own, which makes him one with his community. I have been supporting Mahir for over 20 years and every time I go in for a haircut, his professionalism, positive demeanor and overall vibe are genuine. His partner, Norm is pretty special as well and the two have created an atmosphere of good discussions around community, sports and politics without being imposing. Want to support a Montclair establishment and community business, stop by Mahir's for a great cut and enlightening conversations.
Always get a good cut with Daniella. I switched barbers which is like the cardinal sin but don’t regret it one bit. I commute 45 min just to get the haircut so I think that says a lot.
Extremely happy with my return after years to this barbershop and its new owner. The late hours during the week, ease of making an appointment, and wonderful haircut were all big plusses. I will be back (in four weeks).
I recently went to Kevin for my first haircut at Montclair barbershop, and it was a great experience. From the start, he was professional, friendly, and made me feel comfortable. After visiting so many different nail salons in Montclair, I’ve finally found my favorite! This is where you want to go for a builder gel manicure and Hanna is the best nail tech around. She’s meticulous with prep and always executes flawlessly. My manicures never peel or lift, and I can easily go 3/4 weeks between manis. Sharing a picture of my latest mani, which honestly looks better than the inspiration photo!

I've been coming to Pinky Nails for 15 years and there's no other salon in Montclair that comes close to the unique experience Jessica and her staff provides. The salon is beautiful, clean and comfortable with such a variety of manicure/pedicure options. But what really sets Pinky Nails apart is the personable experience I receive consistently every time Im there. Everyone there is hardworking, friendly and there is a warmth and coziness you just don't find anywhere else these days. I have been bringing my daughters here since they were 2 years old and it has become such a family experience, even my hubby enjoys coming too! My nail technician went above and beyond with my dip powder manicure and treated me to a luxurious experience! I have found my new local salon.
I visited this nail salon to meet my friend who was getting her stunning nails done by Nancy. While waiting, I wanted a quick 10-minute massage since I had driven 3.5 hours from Cape May. It was near closing time, but Nancy and the manager, Barbara, were incredibly kind and offered me the massage chair to relax. It was just what I needed! Now I’m refreshed and ready for dinner with my friends in Montclair by 7 PM. This place has top-notch customer service, and I highly recommend it!
I travel from out of Montclair to come see Dani to get my nails done. I get dip powder with tips (prob not official name) and I don't use the UV machines bc I feel pain in my nails when I do. Dani is simply the best. My nails look so natural and beautiful. She is quick but very very good. I've tried many nail places and hated all of them. Polishes is really the best.

Went here for my first tattoo and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Clara was my artist and she did a great job and sketched my tattoo the exact way I wanted. I do think it was a little pricy for the sizing of my tattoo but other than that, I enjoyed coming here and would come in the future for more tattoos.

Frankly, I'm shocked by some of the other reviews here. It's like we're talking about 2 different guys. We hired nick to lay down a patio with walkways, clear some areas, install drainage, and do some minor planting. My experience was stellar. Nick gave me a price that was far better than any of 6 or 7 other landscapers I consulted, he got the job done in a very short time and before a critical deadline, he always responded to my text messages and calls, he was knowledgeable about town ordinances and permitting requirements as well as the various planting we requested, the quality of his work was excellent, and he corrected every little nit that I raised without objection. Plus, he's an awfully nice guy. I'm giving him a big thumbs up; I was very happy.

John was super professional, quick, and really thorough — you can tell he knows his stuff. The crew was awesome too and left everything spotless. Our yard feels completely different now (in the best way!) and we absolutely love it. Highly recommend them if you need any tree work done!
We had an excellent experience using their services approx 4 weeks ago for the removal of two slim trees and for cutting back a massive Norwegian Maple in our backyard.Communication with Rich (owner) was very good from our initial inquiry through the completion of the services - very responsive in a timely fashion and very informative. Two days before the scheduled services we had a change of heart about the extent of services discussed, which Rich handled with flexibility, accommodating the changes, despite the short notice.The morning of the service, Rich as well as the work crew, and the equipment arrived and started on time. The work area as well as our neighbor’s driveway, which had to be used for the trucks, was thoroughly cleaned up at the end of the job. All staff memberswere polite and professional.
I’ve been coming to this dentist office for over 5 years, and it’s truly become a place I love. Every single staff member is warm, kind, and makes you feel like family. Dr. St. Ledger lives up to his name—he’s a true saint with endless patience and care. Dr. Hanna is an absolute joy as well. The energy here is always positive, calming, and genuine. I actually look forward to my appointments. So grateful for this amazing team.

Dr Mincey always fixes what's wrong. I walk out feeling much better, getting to the real root of the problem. Supplements are used instead of drugs. I've sent friends there and they feel they've gotten true help and a path out of sometimes long-term health issues. Got rid of sleep issues, hot-flashes, adrenal issues, as well as covid and much more. Highly recommended for anyone tired of the runaround, expense, medication masking symptoms, and no real result of the mainstream medical profession. I'd rather feel better abd be healthy.

We absolutely love Dr. Downie! She is the 5th Dermatologist we had seen, none of them was this caring. She was the only one who put the special glasses and gloves on, got real close to my daughter’s face and examined her acne. Then, first one ever explained types of acne, what type my daughter has, ways to cure it, what the best solution is. My daughter was already very sensitive and emotional on this subject (because of other doctor’s mistakes and having no care at all) by the time we first visited Dr Downie, she took her time, sat next to her while my daughter was in tears; they cried together while holding hand and Dr. Downie told my daughter not to worry she will give her glass skin. She was not lying! We visited her on monthly basis, did everything she said, a month away from completing the treatment, almost glass skin. Dr. Downie will do one special treatment at the end; and will be over. We travel total of 3.5 hours to see her and worth it. She is awesome!

Dr. King is very knowledgeable about dogs and doesn't waste your money prescribing things your dog doesn't need or upcharge you like other vets in Montclair.
What can I say? After looking for a massage therapist for my husband I finally chose NextGen Massage. After so many failed attempts to find the perfect therapist NextGen won my husband’s trust and peace. The therapist was skilled and very professional. NextGen therapists care for their clients. This place is magical! Such a wide variety from healing potions, to whimsical trinkets! I have never seen such a good selection of crystals with perfect little cards that tell you all about their applications and properties. The staff are all so warm and helpful, and their readings are consistently on point. Do not miss this shop!

I had such an amazing massage with Evelyn! I will say if you want a little more pressure they usually change it to a deep tissue massage which is an additional $15 (or maybe $20). That alll being said, this was a great experience.
It was a very very cool vibe for the actual massage place, the lighting & aromatherapy was super nice. She knew exactly how to help fix my neck and back pain! I really recommend this to anyone who wants a nice relaxing massage or to fix some pain they’ve been feeling!

I am a frequent flyer at QiQi. I can honestly say, I always have a great massage. Some therapists are better than others. I always stress the level of pressure I want. Facility is no frills but clean. I always walk out feeling better.
Rebekah Frome has been incredibly helpful for alignment issues and shoulder pain. Not only is she kind and compassionate, but she is also so knowledgeable about the body and brings so much experience in rolfing and physical therapy. I leave her sessions feeling like my body is so much more open and aligned and at ease. I recommend her highly!
I recently finished my physical therapy at SportsMed on Claremont Avenue in Montclair.
From the moment I walked in—greeted by Kim and Sarais—and met the therapists who would be helping me with my foot, back, shoulder, and rib injuries, I felt I would be in caring hands.
The team was great at explaining my treatment plan and were always patient while coaching me through the process. I started with numerous exercises and always appreciated how they’d keep an eye on me to make sure I was doing each one the appropriate way.
Their personalities and calm approach also helped greatly, especially on the tougher days when I was feeling frustrated. Yet it was more than worth it since each of my injuries have healed.
Big thanks to the amazing group that worked on me including Swêta, Jon, Dr. G, Kyla, Mo, and Malhar. Each one played a role in helping me recover, and they were all fantastic.
I’ve been going to Bill for years now, he helped me out of a jam when I rolled my ankle severely after starting a new construction job. I could barely walk let alone consider going to work, which would’ve been a terribly bad look for me just starting this job. By seeing Bill the day of my injury and 2 more times following, I was able to feel good enough to go to work and make it through the week. Working this physically demanding job I always have aches and pains developing that Bill has always been able to alleviate over the years. If you’re in pain go see Bill, he will for sure make you feel better.

I truly appreciated the session and will definitely be returning, as I strongly believe in the power of acupuncture and traditional Chinese medicine.
