City image is where I go to get my haircut for about 4 years now maybe more! Mike is the barber I use all the time and he is one of the top barbers in all the land, if he ever isn’t there I feel just as comfortable using Joe, Manny, Elena, and Nick all around fantastic team!

Had my haircut by Elena on Saturday, February 3 and I am delighted with the results. Elena paid attention to me as a customer, asked great questions and paid attention to the details - BEST HAIRCUT EVER. She did such a great job I booked two more appointments!She is more than a barber - she's an artist!

My son had a haircut with Joe and he did a great job! We weren’t happy with place my son was going before and even refused getting a haircut for months. It took weeks of looking through reviews online for City Image and then came across a friend who actually recommended this place too, so my son decided he would give it a try. Joe was patient and was able to understand what my teenager wanted for a haircut.

Opened in 2018, Montclair, New Jersey, became home to the 5th City Image Barber Shop Location. Our team of talented barbers ensures some of the best quality haircuts and customer service in the Northern New Jersey area. In 2009, Jeff Agnello decided to open up the first City Image Barber shop location at 19 years old. With dreams of eventually owning multiple locations, he now runs the largest privately owned barbershop chain in New Jersey, with 10 locations. City Image is also the first and only barbershop in the country to provide its employees with FREE healthcare! Our Mission is to continue to challenge the men's haircutting Industry by creating an atmosphere where clients feel welcomed, and employees feel inspired.
