“I had my first experience here tonight, over all I am quite happy with my visit. The wait was a bit long, but it is to be expected at any health care facility, humans or animal. The staff is caring and kind, everyone I came in contact with was very attentive and willing to answer questions and address concerns. “We moved to NJ from NYC a few months ago and have been looking for a good groomer for my sweet but very anxious german shepherd. I found Hand to Paws on Yelp and thought I would give it a shot! And we were not disappointed! Everyone greeted us and they were very very sweet and took the best care of my Persi! The shop very clean and the doggies are not kept in cages. They have their own individual play pen! It is so cute. We will definitely be going back.“

My one dog is usually nervous about grooming, but he actually looks happy to see them — that says everything! “My dog Miles hasn’t been to a groomer in 2 years. He used to have no problem going until a groomer sliced his paw open. Ever since he’s been anxious and aggressive to the point that no groomer would take him. Then I found NJ Dog Barbers from an article and decided to take a chance. He’s been so matted and uncomfortable for weeks and I just don’t trust myself not to cut him by accident. Today they worked a miracle. He looks like a new dog! And they were willing to work with him in spite of his issues. The groomer was so kind! And I know despite his behavior my dog was appreciative because he’ll usually start barking and going off when I come to pick him up if he doesn’t like somebody but he was completely quiet and calm as I paid and left. These guys are lifesavers!“
