The curriculum keeps kids engaged, motivated, and excited to learn while building confidence, discipline, and respect. Watching how positively the children respond to the program has been amazing. My only regret is not signing my child up sooner! Highly recommend to any parent looking for a positive and enriching activity for their child.“

Great Instruction
Well Run Class
Organized Structure

Wonderful Atmosphere
If I were to give anyone an example of what a community oriented Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu & Mixed Martial Arts Training Center should look like: this would be it.“

9AM - 9:30PM
10 Nassau Pl, Staten Island“Great dojo. My son has been here about 8 months and we’re extremely happy with it.
The senseis are the real deal—firm, structured, and clear with expectations, but still patient and great with the kids. There’s a level of discipline here that you don’t see at a lot of places.
What stood out to us right away is that it doesn’t feel corporate or watered down. It’s focused, authentic, and you can tell they care about developing the kids, not just running classes.
We come 3–4 times a week and my son genuinely wants to be there. He’s improved a lot in his judo, but more importantly, his confidence, discipline, and overall attitude have noticeably leveled up.
If you’re comparing schools, this is the kind of place you want your kid in.“

Justin will make you sweat no matter what (in the best way possible!), and Naza always makes sure you have everything you need for class… no matter what :)
All the classes are awesome, and the atmosphere is even better. There are no bad people here trying to hurt you—lol! Just a supportive, welcoming community where any age can learn, grow, and have fun.
If you’re thinking about joining, don’t hesitate. You’ll love it just like we do!“

Master Will inspires, guides, and sets high standards while patiently helping each child achieve their very best. His genuine love for teaching truly shows, and we are incredibly grateful that kids have the privilege of learning from him! His instructors - the black belt guys are great too! They are all very friendly, and the kids always look forward to go to classes.
(We have seen many other masters and schools, where some “teach” for sake of business…) We are very happy to find the Walter Martial Arts- no doubt it’s the best Taekwondo school in NJ.“

2909 Washington Rd, Parlin“We couldn’t be happier with ATA in Parlin. It is absolutely worth the investment of both time and money. We have two kids enrolled, and the growth we’ve seen in their behavior, discipline, skills, and social development has been incredible.
The instructors truly take martial arts seriously. They teach with knowledge, structure, and a strong emphasis on respect. It’s not just about learning kicks and punches; it’s about building character, confidence, and self-control.
Our kids have gained so much more than martial arts skills. They’ve learned responsibility, focus, and how to carry themselves with confidence. The instructors are professional, patient, and genuinely care about each student’s progress.
Highly recommend to any parent looking for a program that builds strong kids inside and out.“

32 Old Matawan Rd Suite A, Old Bridge“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Taekwondo School That Truly Changes Lives
I’ve been here for less than a month, and I’m already learning my third form — but what impressed me even more is the mindset, discipline, and support this school provides. This isn’t just kicks and punches… this is a place where real growth happens.
The instructor has a rare gift — he understands people. Whether you’re dealing with anxiety, depression, family struggles, or trying to find clarity, he knows how to connect, motivate, and inspire. He speaks from real-life experience, and that’s what makes his leadership powerful. You don’t just train here… you heal, you focus, and you become better inside and out.
If you’re looking for a Taekwondo school that builds skill, confidence, and character, this is the place.
Highly recommended. Five stars all the way.
Thank you for all you do!!“

The instructors are incredibly knowledgeable, and they do a fantastic job balancing tradition with practical application. There's a real sense of community here — everyone supports one another, regardless of age or experience level. I’ve gained not only skills, but also a deeper appreciation for the art of Goju-Ryu. Highly recommend!“

“Our family had a wonderful experience at Ambition Martial Arts with Professor James Noto. My son trained there for about three years, and my daughter also .
The biggest difference we saw was in our son's confidence, discipline, focus, and behavior. The training taught him much more than martial arts—it helped him develop respect, perseverance, self-control, and valuable life skills. He learned Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, MMA, and kickboxing, while also gaining practical self-defense skills in a positive and encouraging environment.
Professor James Noto is an outstanding instructor who genuinely cares about his students. He knows how to challenge children while also making them feel supported and motivated. The atmosphere at the academy is respectful, family-friendly, and focused on helping every student grow both on and off the mat. We highly recommend Professor James Noto and his team to any parent looking for a place where their child can build confidence, discipline, character, and strong martial arts skills. Thank you for everything!“
