“Bryan did an amazing job with our GSD during the 3 week Top Dog program. He worked on building her confidence and more importantly giving us the tools to continue her training at home. Bryan kept us up to date on her progress and checked in with us once she was home.“

“The best doggy day care facility around as far as we are concerned. Our pup loves it here. She sprints out of the car every time we drop her off.“

“I use Petra’s all the time for boarding. Just dropped dogs off for the 4th time in a month (business travel). Both dogs always run into office and into the staffs arms! I have peace of mind when I walk away and know when I come back for pickup, my two dogs will have had great care. We often use added services (walking and bathing) Thanks Nicole and Team! Buddy and Derby love all of you too!“

“Had the pleasure of attending an Intro to Barn Hunt Workshop today and me and my Basset Hound, Rosco, had the absolute best time. We recently got into scent work training which he has been excelling at and a trainer at the school we go to passed on the information for todays Barn Hunt to give a try. Let’s just say we loved it.Leila and her son Sylvain are an absolute treat to be educated by. They’re fun, engaging and really make everyone feel as equals no matter what level your dog may be at. I have been doing obedience training with my dogs for about 3 years now and I really appreciated how they broke up the information for a 2.5 hour seminar in a way that covered so much without overwhelming the participants. Plus Leila’s personality and humor will have you laughing throughout the entire session. We walked in today with zero expectations but left feeling excited to come back as we will definitely be doing private lessons with them to hone in on his ability to compete in this sport.“

“we have a high anxiety, reactive dog and we have always been stressed over going to the vet because it is one of his triggers. we were told the vets here are fear free and specialize in dogs like ours so we decided to call and see how we felt. before even scheduling an appointment, we were able to set up a plan for when we bring our dog in to try to limit his anxiety. the receptionist, techs and doctors all took our plan seriously and listened to us about our dog’s triggers. we were able to have the most thorough exam he has ever had including nail clippings (which we assumed would be impossible given his anxiety with paw touching) and aspirated a lump we were concerned about. the lump was one that other vets had tried to aspirate previously and were unable to, so we were impressed with how easily dr hallihan was able to do so. the entire staff at this practice is kind, helpful and listens to their patients. this is the best vet we have ever been to and if you’re considering going here, definitely give it a try.“

“Every time we put my dog’s seatbelt harness on, she gets so excited to come to K9! She always comes home exhausted from playing with all the other dogs, and the picture updates via Instagram seem like she’s having a blast!“

“Like many Australian Shepards, our Milo can be a handful when it comes to care. Combine that with the behavioral issues he developed from his time at the shelter and many exchanges of ownership, we knew we had to search for the best services possible when it comes to daycare/boarding. Diane and her team were highly recommended to us by our dog trainer. Diane is very knowledgeable and patient with us and our pup, and she provides exceptional training to her staff as well. When Milo is unable to join us on our family travels, there is no other group we trust more than Beyond The Walk, because that is exactly what the provide - thoughtful care, stimulation, and training that extends BEYOND the basic boarding and walk a dog needs.TLDR - Diane and her group are cool people, and they know dogs!“

“My COVID project was to do something I always wanted to do but never had the time to do it. I wanted to be trained, and to train a dog to become nationally pet therapy certified and bring smiles to any and all faces! I know what joy they bring to my life and I just want to bring that joy to others even if it’s only for a little while. Maverick and I did all of our training and graduated within 1 year of getting him at 8 weeks old. I will never forget one of the reviewers taking me aside and informing me how exceptional Maverick was with the kids, and that I should think about going into Elementary schools. I took her advice, even though that wasn’t my original plan. We have been attending two different Elementary schools going on our second year now. We also do a group session once a month with the elderly. If our patients are home bound we make visits to their home. When I put his bandanna around his neck he knows it’s therapy time. He is so comfortable and confident he struts his stuff walking down the hallway! He knows what he is supposed to do and is more than happy to oblige. I just sit back and watch him smile, watch the people smile, and then I smile. I am very grateful for TDI and the many lives it has and will change.“
