“As a recent transplant to NJ a few years ago, I was in need of a local primary care doctor. I am fairly healthy but a nagging shoulder injury from sports was was giving me what I call the night pinches. So I asked my neighbor who she would recommend. Jump forward to 2012 and I have to say I have been a happy patient of Dr Boyland for many years. He is honest, kind, knowledgeable, and a GREAT listener. I have never felt he was rushing me out of his office. Marion his assistant is warm and funny. I can get an appointment with a few days notice (maybe not after this review, but so be it). There is parking lot in the building if you drive, and the office is a short walk from Journal Square.“

“Magic Homecare Bronx Office has been servicing my mom for the last year and a half. Her case manager is Wendy R. she has been always attentive and caring. My mom was with her at her previous employer, and when Wendy left , we went in search to find where she was working and Immediately transferred my mom to Magic Home Care. The caregivers she sends are excellent. We are able to communicate with Wendy R. always even if she is off duty and we call, she responds. Great home care services from the Bronx Office.“

“I had shoulder/neck pain for almost 2 weeks, and it got to the point where it was difficult to move. I made a last minute appointment with Karen for an adjustment and she was a godsend. I really appreciated how she told me about what my insurance would/wouldn't cover up front so there were no surprises. She is a fantastic listener and was super nice yet down-to-earth and straightforward. Karen got straight to the pain points, and you know I love effectiveness and efficiency. I didn't do a full assessment for this session, but that quick adjustment and satisfying back and neck cracks brought so much relief. I was able to bend backwards a bit and turn my head after she tried to relax the pressure between my shoulder and my ribs. I would highly recommend her and would go back again.“

“I highly recommend SelectCare. Kelly and Carla and their excellent team of carers looked after my mother during the final 4 years of her life. I lived 3000 miles away from my mother, and initially I wanted someone to help a few hours a day with some of my mother’s daily healthcare needs, as independent living was becoming more challenging for her and I wanted my mother to be able to remain comfortable in her own home. As my mother’s health declined, SelectCare adapted their service from a few hours eventually to 24/7. The SelectCare carers provided friendship and companionship so that my mother did not feel lonely. Kelly was very communicative, responsive and supportive. “Teresa Lewis came to us within 4 hours of needing someone for my dear friend who lives alone and was being discharged from the hospital. She was an angel sent from heaven. She came prepared to stay as long as needed around the clock for just over 3 weeks. She is pleasant and obviously very experienced. She gave great care to my friend taking care of her physical needs at the same time allowing her to regain her independence. We communicated daily during that time. Before she left Teresa cooked a week’s worth of meals and labeled them for her client. I highly recommend her.“
