Omg the place is so beautiful. From the time you book with Lindsey, who is so sweet btw til you walk in and meet Emily and Brittany who are beautiful and so friendly and very helpful. Then onto the amazing Leanna Arnoff, is a P.A. And she is fantastic. She really is caring and walks you thru everything genuinely cares about her patients and genuinely shows concern. The place to me deserves 10 stars. If you’re looking for a place, give them a try they are top shelf without a doubt.
Audiology Island is a life saver for me. Dr. Follman is a complete genius love her had her for years first for my husband and now for me. I highly recommend coming here. My doctor, I would take her home with me. She’s fantastic, smart, brilliant knowledgeable, pleasant, and an all-around wonderful human being. I would never go anywhere else, and I tell all my old friends and deaf friends that they have to get hearing aids from Audiology Island only!!!

I am leaving this 1-star review strictly to get the owner’s attention. I fully intend to delete it within 24–48 hours and replace it with a 5-star review. I genuinely love Beach Bum, care about your business, and would never want to permanently hurt your Google rating. I’ve been a loyal customer and Unlimited Beach Pass member for nearly 20 years.
My frustration has nothing to do with the salon itself—Beach Bum is the cleanest salon with the best beds around. My sole issue is the business hours (closing at 9 PM weekdays, 6 PM weekends).
As a working single mom, handling work, kids, errands, and dinner makes it nearly impossible to consistently use the membership I faithfully pay for. I am constantly racing the clock to get there before the final cutoff, which employees note is actually 8 to 10 minutes before closing. To show my desperation, I have frequently paid $40 out-of-pocket for an 8-minute session at Bella Beach in Holmdel just because they are open one hour later. Their quality doesn't compare, but life responsibilities leave me no choice.
Yesterday was the perfect example: I was near the East Brunswick location around 7:30 PM and wanted to try the new bed everyone is raving about. While driving, Google informed me they were closed until Wednesday. I turned around and rushed to my home salon, only to miss the doors by two minutes.
The demand for later hours is massive, and I see the lost revenue firsthand:
* **Evening:** On 3+ occasions while sitting frustrated in the parking lot after missing cutoff, I watched 5 to 10 customers pull up within a 15-minute window, only to turn away at the locked door.
* **Morning:** I arrived at 9:55 AM once thinking opening was 9 AM, and found multiple women waiting in line for the 10 AM opening.
Operating under limited, post-COVID hours is a missed opportunity. Pre-COVID, there were midnight options in NJ and 24/7 salons in Staten Island. I've spent a lot of time thinking of solutions:
### #1 - 24/7 VIP All-Access Gold Card Membership (Zero Labor Cost)
Convenience is a luxury, and I’d happily pay 3x my current monthly price for a Gold Card tier that utilizes a secure keycard entry system. The swipe system would track check-ins, start the bed, enforce the 24-hour tanning regulation, and manage security. Providing access to paper towels and disinfectant ensures members clean the beds before and after use. Gyms like Powerhouse in Hazlet operate 24/7 this way with limited staffed hours, and Planet Fitness offers overnight tanning with minimal staff. This would make Beach Bum an industry pioneer with zero added labor costs.
### #2 - Extended or Rotated Hours
If 24/7 access isn't possible, please consider adding 2 hours to the evening (11 PM weekdays, 9 PM weekends, especially for Free Tan Sundays). Alternatively, rotate hours among local branches, designating one location per night to stay open 2 hours later. I would gladly drive to any branch within a 20-mile radius for this.
I say this as one of your biggest supporters. If staffing is the primary issue, I’d honestly volunteer to work a few evening hours myself because I care that much. Please consider these solutions to benefit both Beach Bum’s bottom line and your loyal customers. Thank you for your time!

Had an amazing experience at the Oh La La hair salon with Sara. Sara takes the time to listen to what you want and offers helpful suggestions that worked with my hair type. The salon’s atmosphere was welcoming, clean, and relaxing from the moment I walked in.

Let me tell you! Morgan greeted me as soon as I stepped foot in the door. She wasted no time. Brought me right to the room and made me feel really comfortable. The environment was super clean. It felt like my best friend was doing my Brazilian lol Of course nervous. I got a Brazilian, my nose and lip. The wax they use is off the charts smooth. Not sticky. Morgan did a wonderful job. She really knows what she's doing. If your scared to do it. Be open and go for it. I did. I was not expecting anything but pain lol. This is my new spot! Check out their Instagram. It's hilarious. Great experience from the time you walk in until finished. Staff is incredibly organized professional and very friendly. The patient experience is taken very seriously and no matter if simple cleaning or extensive work I had in past and scheduled for implant surgery after the new year I couldn’t say enough about the Dentists willingness to spend as much time needed explaining what needs to be done. We always dread cost but they outline in a very basic manner to make it as “painless” as possible. Amy who is as knowledgeable as anyone in the business and my buddy Lisa who runs things across the suite of offices is fantastic !!
I recently started to use Bayshore on the recommendation of a few friends. Everyone from reception, to vet techs to Doctors are friendly, warm and caring. My animals get a thorough exam and are treated with respect. I say this because the last vet that I used was afraid of my very mild mannered dog and made me muzzle him before she'd approach him, even though he didn't exhibit any aggressive behavior. And she still didn't give him the exam he should have had. When I brought him to Bayshore I mentioned that they could muzzle him if they thought necessary and they said no need. And last vet was afraid of my cat because she was very vocal as she hates the carrier. Bayshore had no fear of giving her a thorough exam and correctly diagnosing her. Needless to say they are my new vet.
Wonderful, caring people work there and upon arrival my dog got loose from his collar but the staff was right there to get him inside thank God. Also when I picked him up, they were kind enough to walk him to the car for me. Plus they were available for all follow-up calls too. Very highly recommended them and I appreciated all their help.
I have been going to Bayshore since 2016. That are phenomenal. They are so caring and loving and always able to make a slot for your pet if you should have an emergency They go above and beyond and I can’t say enough about Dr. O’Malley. She is just wonderful. The staff there is incredible

Dr. So is fantastic. Although the acupuncture isn’t completely painless, the results make up for it. I came in with pelvic pain one day and it was gone by the end of the visit. I’ve had more energy and overall just feel better with each treatment.
