Jo-ann is FANTASTIC! Myself and my family have been going to Corner Style for a few years. Only great experiences. Myself and 1 fam have naturally curly hair and it's hard to find someone who can cut it well - Jo-ann is superb at it! After she's done, it not only looks wonderful, but it still looks very good as it grows out! She is also a very kind and friendly person and it's always fun to chat with her as she works. I found out about her when I saw someone in Hillsborough with curly hair and a great haircut and asked where she got her hair done and she told me about Jo-ann at Corner Style. I was so lucky to have chanced upon that recommendation.

Let's face it, getting a Brazilian wax can be, well, a little uncomfortable, but my experience with Sam A. made all the difference! She was absolutely amazing--so gentle, thorough, and kept the atmosphere light and relaxed with her great sense of humor. Her technique was the best I've had; she made it as painless as possible, which is saying a lot. I've been going to another location for my waxes, but this was my first time at this location, and I wish I'd switched sooner. Not only is it much closer to me, but the service was top-notch. The manager was also really welcoming, which added to the positive vibe. I couldn't recommend Sam A. more if you're looking for someone who's skilled and genuinely makes the experience enjoyable!

Like many people, I’m often hesitant to hire a professional service I’m unfamiliar with, especially when time is limited during a property purchase. But once again, we were so pleased that Nick Burno and his team arrived prepared and fully staffed. With three technicians plus Nick himself, they broke into two teams and covered every inch of the property thoroughly and efficiently.
At no point did we feel rushed—both my wife and I appreciated how the team walked us through their concerns, kept us informed, and ultimately delivered a detailed, clear, and comprehensive report.
We also used Detail for both the Wood Destroying Insect Inspection and Radon Testing, and the process was just as smooth. Scheduling was easy, and the turnaround time on the reports was impressively fast.

Yesterday we had the pleasure of visiting Chloe Manetta, a skilled stylist at Lynx Hair Lounge. I am extremely disappointed in myself for not visiting this salon sooner. The interior has a sassy Boho style. My son and I have very curly hair, which can be challenging to cut. We were both impressed with our haircuts. My daughter, who has long straight hair, was thrilled with her new layers. Chloe demonstrated her versatility and talent today. We highly recommend giving Chloe and the salon a try if you haven't already.
Maggie did a great job with my blow out, and marry at the desk was so friendly. The service was amazing!

I have been going to Renaissance for the last few years and getting my hair done by Val and every experience has been great!! I’ve had balayages, highlights, haircuts masks, haircuts, and blow outs and every single time it turns out even better than I imagined. I’ve been going to Above and Beyond for years. I’ve tried other places but keep coming back. The salon has a very quiet peaceful vibe. Jenny and Othelia do a good job on mani/pedis. They are reasonably priced, efficient and very convenient. I highly recommend them and will continue to have my manicure and pedicures done there.

Beyond the Fringe is an organized, clean salon with an open & airy atmosphere. Emma was my stylist, and I simply cannot say enough positive things about her. She was gracious, professional and knowledgeable. On my first visit I received a fantastic haircut, all with just a simple explanation of how I wear my hair. She inquired several times during the appointment if I was satisfied with various aspects. Emma selected styling products that suited my hair, leaving it shiny and super soft. I was more than happy. She washes my hair so well and it’s so relaxing and just overall a wonderful experience! She is so nice and she always gives me advice on what she thinks is best when I don’t know exactly what I want. She is patient and understanding! Excellent company! Competitive pricing and very pristine work and cleanup, not to mention fast but efficient. They made sure they checked in with me on everything and were overall super professional and pleasant people!! Will definitely be my go-to for anything electric.
I called an electrician to see why my GFI was not working and discovered that my electrical box was about to explode. Wires were burnt, etc. He promptly fixed the box, replaced all circuit breakers, and later helped me label them again. He even painted the new box to match the color of my home. I really appreciated his knowledge and professionalism. Would definitely recommend him for any major electricity jobs. He will be my electrician always.

Went in to get stone to fill in a hole in my driveway today. I was hoping to get it delivered tomorrow, but they didn't have any drivers available, so they asked if I would like it delivered today. I was a bit nervous since it was already after 3:30 and it's getting dark early, so that wouldn't give me much time. Ed did a great job and got it to my house in just over 30 minutes and dumped the stone exactly where I needed it. From the time I got to the store, until I was done with the job took just over an hour.

We just had some landscaping work done, and we couldn’t be happier with the results! They worked efficiently and thoughtfully—removing tree stumps and old bushes, redirecting our downspouts, and repurposing our original flagstone to create a stunning, creatively designed walkway. They also planted beautiful native plants that really brings the whole space together.

Although my senior cat was only a patient there for a relatively brief time, they were wonderful to him, and me. We had an emergency, and they took us right in as soon as they opened. I definitely recommend them, and I'll be back with my next pet, guaranteed.
I brought my dog here about a month ago to be treated for GVD/bloat, where he received emergency surgery. He has since fully recovered and is doing wonderfully! A huge thank you to his surgeon, Dr. Klatzkow, and all the incredible staff whose names I unfortunately didn’t get for saving his life that night. They were also more than helpful with all of my follow-up questions. I’d like to especially shout out Finn, the receptionist, who was lovely company on one of the worst nights of my life!
Two words of advice for fellow owners: First, definitely call ahead if you’re in an emergency situation so that they can thoroughly prepare- it can save you precious time. Overnight staff is limited and if they’re already occupied with a true emergency, you will not be able to receive help. Always call! Second, emergency care is expensive and that is not your vet’s fault! Who ever heard of becoming a veterinarian for the money? ? Pet care is not subsidized by the govt. like human medical care, so prepare with an emergency fund and/or get pet insurance! We came in uninsured and paid about 8k, you bet I signed him up for pet insurance two days later!
Joey is the best ! In all these years of doing yoga, going to physical therapy, deep tissue massages, etc., I have never felt better after visiting Joey. She explains everything clearly and doesn’t rush through the procedure. She doesn’t force you to do more sessions , it’s totally up to you ! Her place is very clean and It’s easy to make an appointment with her. Personally she has/is helped/helping me recover from physical injuries. She has taught me some basic exercises that I can do during the day. Overall, if you want to get better , feel better and do better you need to see Joey.

April was amazing! From the pick up through the road test to dropping me off at the dmv, she was incredible. She calmed my nerves immensely and just wanted me to pass! She gives 4 key words to use throughout the entire test and those words are still imbedded in my brain. She is the most incredible driving instructor I could have had. I had an excellent experience with Hickory Driving School. I took total 2 six hours training session with them. I was completely new to driving. From the very first lesson, the instructors (Dave and Bonnie) were professional, patient, and clear in their explanations. They made sure I felt comfortable and confident behind the wheel, and the lessons were always well-structured and tailored to my learning pace. The cars were in great condition, and I appreciated how the instructors focused on both safety and practical driving skills. I passed my driving test on the first try, and I honestly believe it was all thanks to the top-notch training I received. Highly recommend this school to anyone looking to get their license!
