“The Basement Company did a good job at remodelling our basement. The job was rather easy with finishing walls and putting floors, nothing complicated. The only thing I would say is that the team was very attentive at the beginning, but as the job evolved they were less responsive, which at times was a bit frustrating. Maybe they had other bigger jobs to focus and that is understandable. They prepared all documentation for permits with township and it was very easy to go through.“

“Back in February, I came home from vacation to a backed up sewage pipe coming through my shower that flooded my bathroom, my bedroom, and my bedroom closet. After I called my plumber and they had to snake out 60' to clear the clog, my condo was flooded. They handled everything from the water mitigation to remodeling. They were both so professional and easy to get a hold of throughout the entire process. “3rd time using TDM. Tim is responsive via txt and knowledgeable. His workers are careful and meticulous. No stray sealcoating was dripped or tracked onto sidewalk or paver pathway that connects to driveway. 2 day job. Day 1 - Seal cracks on asphalt driveway. Day 2 - Sealcoat. Waited 80 hours before driving on sealed driveway. Price is reasonable given the amount of time for labor. I will be using TDM again in a few years.“

“We had a very difficult excavation inside a store in a nine tenant retail strip center with a small parking lot. I watched Chris, GWS' foreman, and his team on the job. “My water heater unexpectedly stopped working after 10.5 years so I called Abat Plumbing. Frank answered my call at 7:45 AM and came out the very same morning to inspect the unit.

Frank determined that the error code indicated a weak ignition, but the replacement part was not in stock and could take a few days to arrive. He was able to temporarily reactivate the water heater and honestly explained that, given its age, replacement would be the best long-term solution. He also identified a few rustic water pipe which needs to be replaced.

We decided to move forward with the replacement, and Frank's son, Frank Jr., installed the new water heater that same day. While working in the basement, Frank Jr. noticed that our AC system was leaking. He pointed it out to us without charging anything extra. We contacted the company that installed our AC three years ago, and they sent a technician two days later to fix the issue.

I am very grateful to Frank and Frank Jr. for their professionalism, honesty, and excellent service. They responded quickly, completed the work promptly, and even helped us identify another problem before it became a bigger issue. I highly recommend Abat Plumbing!“

There are two things in life that are more valuable than Gold, an honest Mechanic and a trustworthy Contractor. I heard about SMS Contracting from a friend of mine who recommended them to me and I am so grateful that he did. Steve, the owner and his crew were on time, professional and their craftsmanship were second to none. He even threw in a couple of minor things in for free because in his professional opinion it finished the job off better. SMS finished the job on time and below budget, how often does that happen. Steve is about building relationships with their customers rather than making the quick buck, he is a true business man and puts the customer first.
