“What an amazing Veterinary Practice! We brought our new puppy to see Dr. Maida last week for a puppy exam and to discuss vaccines and her general health. He did a thorough exam on her and told us we can bring her back this week for her booster vaccine and a checkup. She had her booster vaccine today and while we were checking out she threw up. Dr. Maida and his staff jumped into immediate action assessing little girl and confirming she was having an anaphylaxis reaction due to the vaccine. They immediately treated her with steroids and fluids and monitored her until she was stable and ready to go home. They continued to check on her and us and answered every question we had with compassion, kindness and understanding. We were both extremely nervous as we had never seen this happen and she is a tiny 2lb 12 week old puppy.Emergency aside, Dr. Maida is an extremely knowledgeable and patient vet who answered every single one of our questions about our new pup and helped us make appropriate decisions regarding her care. The office and exam rooms are clean and all of the staff are kind and welcoming. I have never felt so comfortable with a Veterinarian and if you live in the area, they are worth a visit for your pet.Thank you so much Dr. Maida and all of the staff at Closter Animal Hospital.“

“I brought my beloved dog Vanna to be put to sleep on June 7th to Meadowlands Veterinary Hospital . Vanna was 17 years old and was completely blind. Her blindness didn't stop her from being physically active and she was always on the move. Unfortunately there were other issues which made it impossible for Vanna to continue being active. Vanna was seen by Dr Meza. She was so patient with me and gave me all the time I needed to hold Vanna and cry and just say goodbye to my little beautiful baby. I didn't feel pressured at all. Dr Meza explained the entire procedure to me and told me when I was ready to let Vanna go to let her know. I was holding Vanna when she passed. I wept so much but I truly felt it was the best thing I could do for my sweet girl. I would definitely recommend Dr Meza or Dr Marteney. “I brought my dog there the other day for the first time… Very very happy! let me start here…(I rescue pitbulls for the last 20 years so I’m very serious about their care and their mental well-being)
I had found parking in the front of the clinic and my dog hates getting out of my truck.. (his fear)
so I had the door open, and I was just talking to him, waiting for him to be comfortable to come out. One of the girls that work there saw me and decided on her own to come out and be super helpful and greet my dog and try and help me get him out and make him feel comfortable! it may sound like not a big deal, but it was because she didn’t have to come out and go out of her way to help me without me asking.
so we get him out of the car, we go inside he was so happy… All the girls inside were so welcoming so sweet and so obsessed with my Boy Dante! I did not wait long at all, actually I only waited Maybe about 5 minutes 10 minutes.MAX. which normally at all my old vets, I’ve always waited at least 30 mins. (this definitely helps us as pet owners and also our pets that hate waiting in a waiting room getting anxious)
then I go into the room to see Dr. Anastasiou .. (the best!!!) The most kindest, gentle and educated Veterinarian! listened to all my concerns, paid attention to my dogs behavior, mannerisms, and took good care of him! he did not rush me out, and he made everything super easy!! I highly recommend Middletown animal clinic! 10/10 !!!“
