“Max came by to fix our Weil-McLain High Efficiency ECO boiler and did so honestly, thoroughly, and for a fair price. He clearly knew what he was doing—he had done his homework on the boiler—something I can’t say for the four or five HVAC techs I’ve had over the past year who either refused to touch it or insisted it needed to be replaced entirely. Even PSEG’s “WorryFree” technicians wouldn’t work on it.

I can respect an HVAC tech who’s upfront about not servicing high-efficiency Weil-McLain systems. But what really frustrates me—and what hurts the reputation of this industry—is the nonsense some techs tell consumers, assuming we won’t know better. That’s where the trust breaks down. The previous HVAC company wanted to charge thousands of dollars for what turned out to be a completely bogus diagnosis.

“This is the best and only plumbing company I will ever use. The first time I had a disaster because I had an ejector pump put in by a different plumber and a week later it broke and he wouldn't fix it and he said you need a whole new one but he wouldn't give me a refund on the $1000 when he just fixed it so I said to the old plumber give me my $1000 off of the new price that you just quoted me and he said no so I never used him again. I went to Google and saw that "all week plumbing" had 5 stars and I called them and they came the same day and put the ejector pump in my basement which we need because we have a spare room that is not on the same plumbing as the rest of the split level house because the room was built more recently. The ejector pump works perfectly and it's still as great after 5 years and we never have any flooding problems. Then about 6 months ago my sink was leaking a little bit and my boyfriend who's very handy said there's something really wrong here because I can't just use puddy. It keeps leaking... you need to call the plumber. So I called and a guy named Adam came and was here a few hours and put a whole new sink in but the pipes were also rotted behind the wall so he had to actually take the wall apart so it was a lot of work and he was here a long time but he did come the same day. The sink is beautiful and it works great and the pipes are all new. Don't look anywhere else for a plumber because these people know what they're doing and they always come within 2 hours of you calling them. They clean up when they're done and they're all very nice people. I've had 3 different technicians here in the last few years because I live in a 70-year-old house so things break. They are great at everything they do.“
