“My neighbor locked himself out of the house but it wasn't his fault! He changed the battery in his keyless entry system a few months ago and had to change it again today. This was strange. With a brand new battery in and tested he walked the dog. But he couldn't get back in! We both immediately concurred, call CLC Locksmiths! Don answered the phone and could hear panic in my neighbors voice. Don explained that the electronics in the unit start to go and begin to eat batteries. Wow! It was agreed that a new unit was needed. Don requested a text photo of the existing unit and responded that they had one left on the shelf! Within minutes Don was there! He replaced the old unit and programmed it perfectly for use. Top notch materials and labor! Not to mention his many years in the business with a local family owned shop that has been here for many years! And if Don doesn't come out you may get one of the owners to service you! Yeah, they're not afraid to get their hands dirty! A reasonable $94 service call to come out, and labor and materials was "expensive" but hey, we are living in horrendously inflationary times (2024) and you know to live in New Jersey is not for the faint of heart nor weak of pocketbook! It was totally worth it for such emergency service and high quality results. Don is a fantastic guy and he should be taking great pride that he is such a big help in time of need! “They did a great job. All I needed was my fob key cut; I called one day and they said a technician would call the next day to schedule an appointment for me to come in. Sure enough I did get a call in the morning and was able to head over. Within no more than 15 minutes the technician was done cutting the key. What I appreciated most is that he did make sure I used the new key before leaving. He wanted to make sure it was able to both lock and unlock the car door; so glad he took the time to see the job all the way through. Efficient service.“

“They called before they came. Showed up on time, did amazing work, even fully cleaned the work area to the point where not a spec was showing. They installed two new locks for me. Cleaned up the doors so they closed better. Asked if I had the paint to match the door so they could do the touch ups. Then rekeyed the locks to the same set of key, which I was going to ask for but didn't have to. Then made me copies that worked the first time!! Take that home crapo.
