I went inside Dan’s locksmith and to my surprise it was way cheaper and I was in and out in 15 minutes. Collin even showed me how to program my key. “When the plastic part of our Honda Odyssey's key FOB cracked (the electronics inside were fine, though), we got a "Case Shell Key Fob Keyless Entry Remote fits Honda Odyssey 2011 2012 2013 (N5F-A04TAA)" from Amazon for about $8 and brought it to Keystone with the original key. They were able to cut the new shell to match the original and move the electronic over to the new shell in like 5 minutes! And it cost only $37.10 after taxes! As compared to I think it was a $300 estimate from the dealer. It was a beautiful thing. There was a bit of a snafu because the new key didn't fit, exactly, the first time, but she was able to fix that in like 5 minutes (she said it's not surprising because of how the keys are - it's probably a security or tolerance thing). So if you do this for your car, make sure you bring the car with you to make sure the fit is exactly right. Also, I suspect we got off so cheap only because the electronics in the FOB were fine.“
