“I came to Hamrah’s after having our hardwood floors refinished because I wanted to protect our stairs from the heavy use that had ruined them to begin with. I had already researched companies online that specifically sell stair runners. I had even ordered a few samples that were disappointingly cheap looking, but expensive nonetheless.<br><br>I first talked to Bob George, one of the owners of Hamrah’s, on the phone. He educated me on the ins and outs of stair runners, and what I could expect if I chose to purchase a rug remnant from Hamrah’s and have them cut, bind, and install it in my home. I was happily surprised to learn that going this route would actually be cheaper than buying one of the runners I had researched online, and I would end up with much higher quality carpet that would be installed by skilled installers.<br><br>I made an appointment for the next day to go into Hamrah’s to look at remnants with Bob. I quickly found one that I liked, and it was within my budget. Bob was wonderful at explaining every step of the process that would take place in the creation of my stair runner. The installation took place several weeks earlier than Bob had said it would because he was able to fit our job in ahead of time. It’s not often nowadays that you feel a company representative is thinking about you, and trying to provide you with better service than you expect, but I felt that way at Hamrah’s right from the start.<br><br>Carlos and Nelson arrived at our home to install our stair runner, and Carlos generously spent his time helping me to make decisions about the placement of the runner on the stairs. He was incredibly knowledgeable, and my husband, who was a carpenter foreman for over 30 years, was very impressed.<br>Carlos and Nelson worked quickly and cleanly and the results are even better than I expected.<br><br>I can’t recommend Hamrah’s highly enough. Bob George is helpful and extremely fair. There is no hard sell with him, which I greatly appreciated. Carlos and Nelson were skilled craftsman and the result of my experience with Hamrah’s is a stair runner that will look terrific and protect my stairs for years to come. Bob even sold me a piece of remaining material from the roll with which we will carpet our cellar stairs in the future.<br><br>If you are looking for a flawless carpet installation experience or a beautiful area rug to purchase, you cannot go wrong at Hamrah’s.”
