She expertly teaches technique, prepares students for exams, and puts her heart into organizing beautiful recitals at Steinway. Under her guidance, my daughter's confidence soared. A special shout-out to Kaitlin, who leads the Summer Musical Theater program. She’s incredible — loving, extremely prepared, and endlessly patient. The annual community events they organize are amazing and full of heart.
Also, Myra from Student Services is always on top of everything. She’s accessible, supportive, and helps with any schedule changes my kids need. I’m very happy and impressed with the education and overall experience my children are receiving.

Hagai and Jinah are amazing teachers, who are very good with working with kids of all ages and up to all levels. I am now going to Brown University for music and I can't capture in a review how grateful I am to the Brooklyn Music Studio for teaching me so much! Jinah is an amazing music theory teacher as well as a virtuosically talented piano teacher and player, and Hagai is an incredible violin and viola teacher and player (he focuses on building the most important technique skills and is kind and patient while still a challenging teacher.) In their lessons, both Hagai and Jinah meet you where you are, giving you the tools and skills to improve without shaming you. They are also extraordinarily welcoming, kind and funny people!“

He has been a terrific coach, especially with voice, which has allowed my girls to reach their goals! He prepared my oldest for the Music Conservatory at Brooklyn College, and my youngest for Wagner HS Concert Chorus. They have been involved in the drama program, dance, and guitar lessons as well, building their confidence, exploring their talents and having fun in a well organized, pleasant environment. Private parking lot too!“

10AM - 7PM
436 5th Ave #4013, Brooklyn“The first time I met Anthony and Susan was when my daughter, Meredith, 3 years old at the time, had just been evaluated as having mild to moderate autism and I was looking for alternative ways in which she would be able to express herself. When I told Susan and Anthony about Meredith and her situation, they opened their arms and accepted who she was without asking any questions. It was tough at the beginning to teach my daughter because she wasn’t talking and did not follow any directions. But Susan was very patient with her and very knowledgeable of what type of instruction was needed. Within a few weeks, my daughter thrived—she played songs with two hands, read notes by herself, recognized the sounds being played, and most importantly, she started to talk. I was very touched and thrilled to discover that my daughter was able to communicate and interact with people other than her parents. This November will be the one year anniversary of my daughter’s first lesson with Susan. Within the year, Meredith had noticeably improved and had demonstrated the ability to play more and more difficult pieces. She even had her very first piano recital and completed a song all by herself. She said to me after the recital that she wasn’t scared, not even a bit!Of course, there are ups and downs during the lessons, but Susan and Anthony are always there for us and give us the best advice after each lesson, as well as share their personal experiences with other kids in need. I am very grateful that I have met them and very delighted that my daughter has found her music home.“
