Highly recommend Shostakovich School of Music, Art & Dance! My child has been attending this school for years. We are so grateful of the professionalism of the classes, program and experienced faculty. My child attended classes ranging from Piano, Vocal, Art and Modern Dance. Due to the expertise of the teachers, my child gained an immense amount of knowledge, skills and abilities which resulted into getting an acceptance into a gifted school for Arts and Sciences--based on Piano and Vocal skills assessment. Unique, one of a kind school that has something for every family. Music, dance, singing, art, they prepare you for gifted and talented exams. I have seen many children (friends and my own) attend classes here for many years. I have attended many many recitals here, and I never cease to be amazed at the amount of work and love that goes into these things. The kids are so lucky. Wonderful dedicated knowledgeable teachers. There is no other school like it. I cannot say enough good things.

My daughter has been attending piano, vocals and dance classes in this school for the last 6 years. The teachers are of high quality. The school organizes performances and recitals every year. It is great for building confidence and discipline. There is solo and group performance. The groups really get along and there is a strong team spirit. It is best for beginner to intermediate levels. The rates are very reasonable too. Conveniently located at two locations in south Brooklyn.
