“I tried out 8 different vets in the area before settling on Animal Health Center. I have been a client for almost 20 years now. I am a die-hard dog fanatic, active in dog sports (agility, obedience), well-read and educated about dog-related topics, and I do a lot of holistic stuff with my pets as well (I have a separate vet to guide me in that realm, but I've appreciated the AHC vets keeping an open mind about it). It's been important to me that I feel heard and respected, and I get that at AHC. We don't always have to agree, but I value the opinion of the vets here and I feel that they always have the best interest of my pets at heart. I have also found their prices to be competitive and the vets always willing to consider options that don't necessitate spending tons of money on tests or treatments. They have also been super responsive, by phone or email, to any questions or requests I've had. I believe most of their staff has also had training in "fear free" methods of working with pets, and that is reflected in their office set up and the way they interact with my pets. Choosing a vet can be a very personal decision, but I feel comfortable in recommending that you give AHC a try!“

“Northwood Veterinary Hospital is by far the best practice I have ever been to! The staff and doctors are as sweet as can be! They listen and care about what your pets needs are. They take your opinions into consideration. They will find the best solution for your pet that will please both parties! I just recently had my cat, Shadow, in for a Cystotomy and PU procedure due to continuous urethral blocking. Everyone here cares, not just for the pet, but for the owners as well. They understand that cost can be a huge issue with surgeries, so they worked with us on a pricing! The doctors did everything in their power to make sure Shadow was comfortable throughout his surgery and hospital stay. They thoroughly explained the surgery process to me and made sure I had no concerns. They were amazing during the 2 week healing process, always answering my questions and emails as soon as they could. Supplying me with aftercare pamphlets that were beyond helpful! They were also willing to schedule aftercare check ups as soon as I needed them! I can’t thank Northwood Vet enough! They saved my cats life!! He’s doing better than he ever has before!“
“I am so thankful for Arbor. We noticed a large infected hot spot on our shepherd yesterday morning and our former vet could not see him for a month. I called Arbor as a new patient and they got him in within the hour! They were so attentive, kind to our pup and thorough in their evaluation. “Have a difficult dog that another area vet had a great deal of difficulty with. These guys just took the leash and put him through their paces. Exactly what he needed. That was many years ago and he's getting on in years (14) but between getting a good amount of exercise, eating a balanced diet, and getting good vet care he'll turn 15 in August.“
