“So, my wife and I get back home after going apple picking, and are having a nice afternoon when I heard this strange clicking noise coming from the furnace. And then, BOOM! Something lets go, there's the sound of rushing water, and the whole downstairs fills up with steam. It was so thick I couldn't even see a foot in front of me in the basement as my plumber, Darren Powers, talked me through on the phone how to shut the furnace down, and which valve to turn to get the water to stop. Man! What a mess.... Darren was such a help to me. Though he had been up since early that morning working a job when I reached him at around 7:00 pm, he came over as soon as he could around 9:00 pm and worked on stabilizing things until about 10:30 pm so nothing else would happen. Because it was Saturday, he wasn't able to come back until Monday after gathering all the parts and equipment needed to fix the furnace and burst pipe line. I've known Darren for years, and he's helped me on many occasions. Each time, he came as soon as he could, did great work, and cleaned up the resulting mess after. I've trusted him numerous times to come in to do his work even when I wasn't home. And he's always been more than fair with not only his prices, but also his time. It doesn't get any better than that. Thanks, Darren. You're not only a great vendor, but I'm glad to have you as a friend.“

“Dennis has been outstanding for us over the years. And, I have to say, I almost never write reviews, but the reviewer A Murphy wrote a really silly review, and I checked her 13 reviews; all but one was super negative. I don't get it - she is obviously someone who will not be satisfied. She should realize that Dennis is busy, because he is very good. BTW, there are not enough plumbers in the world, so A Murphy why don't you give it a try!!“

“I had issues with the toilets in my condo. It was a small job and feared I wouldn't find anyone who would come within a month. Sgt. Smith's was recommended and I couldn't be more pleased with the service. Andrew scheduled a call within 24 hours. He was efficient and knowledgeable and was honest about how to avoid major repairs vs. replacement of toilets. I'm happy to hear that they also will do shower and bath renos in the future. I would highly recommend this business.“
