So, my wife and I get back home after going apple picking, and are having a nice afternoon when I heard this strange clicking noise coming from the furnace. And then, BOOM! Something lets go, there's the sound of rushing water, and the whole downstairs fills up with steam. It was so thick I couldn't even see a foot in front of me in the basement as my plumber, Darren Powers, talked me through on the phone how to shut the furnace down, and which valve to turn to get the water to stop. Man! What a mess.... Darren was such a help to me.
