My first two visits with Dr Hawkins has been excellent care with him and his staff.! My cataract surgery consultation and scheduling appointment went smoothly. Very informative videos that I was given to watch on a tablet prior to the doctor coming in. These 12 short videos explained everything. While the video explaining the different lenses and vision correction that could be accomplished, I felt were a bit deceptive. I got my hopes up only to find out everything wasn’t covered by insurance except the basic lens. Who can afford $3k+ per eye?
One of the eye scan machines I was unable to do because of my c-spine fusion and it didn’t come close enough to the edge of the table for me to lean into.
