I cannot say enough wonderful things about Jackson Medical Associates, but especially about Taylor Medlin, DNP. She is truly the reason my family chooses this clinic. As a mom of two boys, having a provider who is not only knowledgeable but genuinely caring and compassionate means everything.
Taylor makes me feel completely comfortable every time we visit. She listens, never rushes, and always takes the time to explain things in a way that eases my worries. My boys adore her, and she has a special way of making both kids and parents feel understood and supported.

She keeps my color profile in her records so that it is always consistent, and she's always happy to tweak until we get it just right.

Sassy Lash does an amazing Relaxing Facial and Spray Tan Custom to my skin tone. The Salon at Riverwood Salon and Spa is Absolutely Gorgeous. Their private room is beautiful. The service was top notch and prices were more than reasonable. She is a true professional aesthetician ‼️

This is a beautiful space conveniently located in downtown Sylva, with an array of offerings designed to get you moving! The owner is friendly and personable, and teaches at the studio! They also have an in-house tattoo artist, should you want to indulge your artistic side!

Tracey is the BEST! The set of Winter nails she did for me this time is so pretty I accidently walked into the door facing while still admiring them at home. ? The nails she uses are so light they feel like your own, & no smell at all while doing them, which I like. She also gave me a great long layered cut for my hair. I highly recommend her! Not only is she wonderful at her profession, her salon & spa is beautifully decorated, extremely clean, & I love that she has a free coffee/tea/hot cocoa bar for customers. You'll love her! ?
Sabrina was amazing and extremely helpful, as a man with long hair I can honestly say I've never walked out of a barber shop or hair salon happy with my haircut until today. I am not one to get my hair done regularly so to say that I was a nervous wreck to get a hair cut and highlights is an understatement.
I went in, showed a photo of what my idea for the cut would be and explained I wanted blonde highlights.
Lisa was so kind and patient. She asked so many questions to get a good understanding of what I wanted. My appointment overall took about 2 1/2 hours and when I left the salon I literally cried tears of happiness.
I went from long, dark brown hair to now having short, vibrant looking blonde highlighted hair.

Great barber shop conveniently located on main street! I walked in, met Vance (great man), got a very clean cut, and was out probably in 10 minutes or less. Very good haircut, very nice barbers, great place to go!

It was first time there and it was such a great experience. I brought a reference photo for my nails, and Amy did an amazing job recreating it. She was very detailed, gentle, and made sure I was happy with everything. My nails came out beautiful and exactly how I wanted them. I also got a pedicure with a different technician, and it was just as perfect very relaxing and well done. I felt taken care of, and very happy with the results. Highly recommend this place?

I have longer hair and in the 24 years I've been in NC no one has ever been able to layer my hair right. I am so thankful I chose this place and even more Thankful I got Charity! He does a great job on my hair. No one else around town has ever cut it the way I've asked except for him. The color is great too. I don't plan on going anywhere else as long as he's around.

I have tried to get my hair the way I wanted it for three years now I’ve been to I’ve been too many salons and spent a lot of money and never got what I want. My man went and visited studio E talked to a lady and got an appointment set up my appointment with Yvonne and she did a fantastic job so ladies even men if there is a color out there that you want and you ain’t been able to please go see the studio they are the best and they make you feel so comfortable and their prices are great. 20 stars if I could. I feel so incredibly BLESSED to be local to Fusions for the resort like experience so close to home. The spa amenities, the skilled staff, the vibe, the best massage in WNC, hands down. Devin is incredibly knowledgeable in caring for people like me that work out pretty intensely. I recently had a vacation massage at a resort in Puerto Rico and it was absolute garbage compared to the care I receive here. I’m spoiled! ???
Clean shop, fair prices, fun yet professional atmosphere, great service, easy to set up appointments with, Everyone has always been very friendly. Personally I've had all my work done by Eddie and I love every piece he's done. That's not to say anything bad about anyone else as I've seen them working and they're just as great. I'd recommend this shop to anyone.
This review isn't for Forbidden but for Falling who does the piercings. I left 5 stars because they are professional with good reviews but ....
I went in looking for piercings because Fallon lists her address there. I was told I needed to call Fallon to schedule an appointment since she had another job.
I called Fallon and left a message and she didn't call me back. I messaged her on Facebook and she never returned my message. After a few days and several attempts at contacting her, I went elsewhere for my piercings.
If I could leave a review for just Fallon, I would leave 1 star because that was my experience with her. I didn't want to taint Forbidden Tattoos because their service wasn't what Zin was seeking at the time.
So 1 star for Fallon for not returning any of my messages to schedule an appointment. She could have returned my messages and said Fck is off and I would have given 2 stars. Had she contacted me and sent up an appointment probably 5 stars. My experience with her isn't worth any stars.
We are thrilled with the work that Jamie, Ben and their crew did to build our spa area. They were professional, courteous and very hard working. They cleaned up at the end of every day. Our old vets office had taken some turns for the worse, after many years we switched to Jackson County Veterinary when our cat became sick. They worked us in same day, "old vets said it would be 3 days". Everyone at Jackson County Veterinary is Very Very nice. The cat is back to chasing bugs and lizards around the yard and we have a new vet.
Good veterinary office. Taking new clients short staffed is my only negative, waited over 30 minutes twice. Nice staff, kind to my animal and thorough.

I developed horrific low back, right leg pain and numbness. I didn't know where turn. My daughter, who is a CRMT in PA. found Steve online thru his bio and recommended I try him. My first 30 minute visit I couldn't even lye on the table. Steve worked with me best he could. I did get some relief. I booked another 30 minute session a week later. This time I was able to lye supine and gained noticeable improvement in my mobility. Steve is professional, kind and very knowledgeable. Highly recommend Steve!
I’m a high school teacher and was in town attending a NCCAT Training session before school started this year. Due to a lot of driving, my neck and shoulders were very painful. Luckily, with less than 24 hours notice, I called Zen Body Works studio and reached Tom. I explained my situation and he actually got me in that day which I was very thankful. He is an amazing Massage Therapist with lots of experience. His studio is a very calming place with a bathroom and a retail store.I would strongly recommend if you are in the Sylva area to give Zen Body Works a call.
