800 S Stratford Rd, Winston-Salem“I had a great experience with the woman who does the testing before I saw the doctor and an excellent experience with Evelyn who helped me pick out my new glasses. My rating would of been a 5 but I’m upset with the fact that I was made aware that the test that consist of the full picture of your eye (the one you pay out of pocket for) was not done properly last year because the picture did not show my full eye like it’s supposed to but yet Dr. Dunn never said anything about it not being done properly. Now this year Dr. Dunn tells me everything looks good with my eyes according to the picture taken this year but then says oh wait the test shows your cornea is thinning and tells me what to watch out for since it’s possible it can tear. My problem what that is why didn’t she explain what it actually means, what causes it and how to prevent further damage??? It’s like yeah something is wrong with your eye be careful it can tear okay bye. The exam felt rushed.“

Staff was very patient with me. Need glasses again after a few years of perfect vision and staff is as great as I remembered from years ago.“

5380 US-158, Advance“This was my first visit to Carolina Eye Center and I couldn’t be happier with the professional and friendly care I received. I had significant vision issues and Dr. Owens and Dr. Ball explained everything to me using examples and words I could understand. Dr. Owens personally called me the next day to see if I had any other questions. Everyone I encountered during my visit was extremely attentive, caring and helpful.
I was able to find stylish glasses at a very affordable price. I could pick and choose different options for frames and lenses that were within my budget.
I highly recommend Carolina Eye Center Try them and you’ll “see” why!“

235 Harvey St, Winston-Salem“My normal eye doctor couldn’t fit me in when I needed to be seen so I decided to try this place. The employees were very nice, but the doctor sees you via Zoom. They didn’t have my contact lens prescription in office, so they put me in the wrong powered lenses, corrected the wrong prescription with some glasses, and had me read the letters again. When I couldn’t see well, we had to wait for the Zoom doctor to be available again. When I said I couldn’t read the line he asked me to read, he insisted I guess what the letters might be and declared the prescription correct. The technician told me to come back in a week to be rechecked, but the reason I went to this office was because I’m not available to go to the eye doctor for several months. Again, the in person staff is outstanding, but I can’t recommend this place for people who actually want to see a doctor and feel confident in their prescription.“

3750 Clemmons Rd, Clemmons“I am surprised Baker Eye Care did not already have reviews. So this is a small practice right off Clemmons Road (AKA 158) in the town of Clemmons. Easy to find with ample parking. They take cash, plastic and insurance (if you got it). Dr. Baker is very friendly and provides top notch care. I have been here a few times over the years and been very satisfied. They do the basic eye care, and also sell glasses and contacts. The selection for frames is decent. You can probably get services like this cheaper at some chain but the quality of care is much higher at Baker. Highly recommend.“
“I highly recommend Dr. Cogdill. He answers your questions and explains answers in detail. He doesn't rush through his examination. He's very professional and I only trust him with my eye exam. 5 stars doesn't give him justice. He's a 10 in my eyes!“
“Caring and professional are only two words of many I would use to describe my many experiences with John Clerico.“
9AM - 3:30PM
6301 Stadium Dr suite b, Clemmons“I went to the Clemmons Eye Center to renew my glasses Prescription. I also told Dr. Tyler Groce that my eyes were dry. During my Examination, Dr Groce recommended that I try the Optilight Treatment for my dry eyes. Since the first treatment, I had relief that I had not had for months. I have used prescribed drop before, but this treatment has made a major improvement in my discomfort. The Miebo drops, I now use, really make my eyes feel normal. That is great for me. The office staff, as well as Dr. Groce, are very kind. They let you know that they are there to help you. That matters! I highly recommend this Clinic.“
