For a facility with a large number of animals, things can spiral quickly if left unchecked.In addition to doing all the regular cleaning maintenance that would be expected, Proactive goes above and beyond to keep things looking crispy clean…They have hired me every week for almost the last year to come pressure wash the outdoor kennel areas. “It's a great place with one issue not worth removing a star over. That issue is the $6 bone they keep out front to the right. It's extremely popular and whomever is in charge doesn't keep it in stock well enough. When something is the star of your show, make sure you have it.Now...I've brought my dog in for nail trimming. Grinding down as far as possible without hurting her cost $19. I think there's a lesser effort for $15 but didn't try it. This service is walk-in, but because I don't trust people to be at work when I need them, I asked for an appointment instead. I was placated. Please and thank you.Door Dash delivers from here too. If you don't feel like hauling a 25-pound bag of dog food, boom, there it is. However, a dasher once also messed up my order, which Dash refunded.Setting up an appointment via the website is iffy. Call them instead. They don't want you to do that, btw. Call them anyhow. Every person working was friendly and I like talking with them when I shop there. There's usually a treat ready for my pooch, too. The restrooms are always clean and available and, pro-tip here, it's a great place to stop if you're out cruising and just need to use a bathroom.Love this PetSmart. And so does my dog.A.“

“I remember our first conversation with Andres, I told him I didn’t think our rescue dog was smart. I was so wrong! After one training we saw a huge difference, and in the end our dog turned out amazing! She is really incredible, a thanks to the training we got for her and us! We were diligent with our “homework”, and it really paid off. Our girl can run off leash, and comes back every time I call her. We can walk right by other people, rabbits, squirrels, and dogs and she remains next to me. No pulling on leash, comes back off leash. She is able to enjoy running on the beach, through the woods, and with other dogs. She trusts us and we trust her. She asks permission to cross a threshold, to get on the bed with us, to jump out of the car. I could go on and on. Best of all she is our best friend and absolutely loves our little people.Andres really knows and understands dogs. He explains things in a way that makes sense. Not just, do this, but do this because this is what the dogs understands. He is extremely responsive to questions outside the training time, and while you are there, he wants to be sure that you thoroughly understand.Thanks Andres! Your training was invaluable!“

“Pet Palace Cary is the best boarding/daycare place in the triangle and I’ll die on that hill! Their hours are great, their staff is superb, and they have the nicest facilities. My husband and I have several adequate animal daycare options closer to our house, but we take our dog Apollo to pet palace because they are the best. Apollo loves to go to daycare and the occasional boarding and we always feel that he is in good hands with the Cary staff.“

“Great place to board your dog for short or long stays. We also use their daycare and grooming services occasionally, which are also great and well priced. The Cary location is extremely clean and has lots of room for the dogs to play inside or outside. Their boarding suites are clean and roomy, and some even have live feeds, so you can check in on your pup while you are away. Their staff is very friendly, knowledgeable, and provides daily feedback with pictures each day of your dog's stay. When your pet is there, they are matched to other dogs of similar size and temperament during group play, ensuring that they have the best time. They have additional add-on items like extra potty breaks, treats, one on one play, nighttime cuddling, etc., which are all priced within reason. I highly recommend you give them a try !“

“Our dogs really seem to enjoy Pet Paradise. I’ve read a lot of negative reviews for this particular location but haven’t experienced what others have. Our 2 pups are super excited to go and worn out when they get home from playing. All the staff are nice and helpful. The only thing I wish they had was an outdoor area for the pups to enjoy.“
