Pet boarding/training near Four Oaks

“We had an incredible experience with NC K9 and cannot recommend them enough. Jim and his family were amazing with both of our pups, Ace and Roo. From my very first conversation with Jim, I knew he was the right choice for their training. He was patient, knowledgeable, and very clearly experienced in what he does.

Ace, who earned the nickname “Ace Ventura” during his time there, was a total wild child going in and terrible on leash. Roo, on the other hand, had very little confidence, so they had their hands full in two completely different ways. The results have been incredible. Ace is now the most well-behaved, well-mannered dog I have ever had as part of my family, and Roo has continued to gain confidence and make huge strides.

It’s been a few months since they completed their board and train, and both Ace and Roo have continued improving with their obedience, manners, and overall behavior. I am beyond happy with the results and also so grateful for everything we learned through the process. We will absolutely be using NC K9 for any future training needs.

I also have to shout out their farmstead, Clover Leaf Farms. Learning about that side of their business was such a huge bonus for us. Definitely check them out for farm-fresh meat and eggs. You won’t regret it!“

He can be difficult with many people other than his family, but they are wonderful with him and work with us to get him to take his meds (he knows all the tricks to kick them out), to keep him calm and happy (despite his anxiety issues) and are so good about working with us to schedule his time their. Also, he has a thing about anyone touching his paws and yet Anita is able to trim his nails and make him so handsome every single time.“
