tl;dr
I had a small job, replacing a deadbolt with a keypad deadbolt, which I was going to do myself- easy enough. I ran into a snag when I saw the existing hole for the lock was not the standard 2 1/8”. I did not have the correct drill bit to fix this myself, plus I was concerned with my lack of skill I would not do a clean, centered job. I read online about a door lock guide clamp, considered briefly moving forward myself, but because I did not want to end up buying a new front door, decided to call Shane. I really appreciated his integrity— the first thing he did was offer guidance on how to complete the job myself, referencing the guide. I still wanted him to do it so I could see how it should be done. He explained his work and gave me some pro tips along the way. I am thrilled with my new keypad deadbolt and also feel confident I can do the remaining doors myself. No loss of business to Shane— I have a long list of work to give him!“

My water pressure & hot water was quickly declining and no longer existing. I originally called a DIFFERENT company to come help. Since I live on a well and they weren't really able to identify the problem, they recommended that I replace everything: the pressure tank, sediment filtration system & my existing tankless hot water heater and quoted me $11-13k! Absolutely not.
So, I got smart and called Rob & Sons (if I was actually really smart, I would have called them first)!

The level of service I was provided was immaculate! They came right away, quickly was able to diagnose the problem. Was honest, transparent and professional. Told me they would offer solutions & quote me what I needed and didn't try to take advantage of the situation and sell me on something not necessary. However, since it was a Sunday & they needed other parts (my unit didn't utilize the universal fittings) they had to come back Monday. I was called Monday morning & was told that unfortunately the local supply stores didn't have inventory on hand and it would be overnighted so they wouldn't be able to come until Tuesday (not their fault, out of their control). To my absolute shock I got a call back soon after that they were able to track down the material needed (it was on a truck on it's way to Wilmington), meet the people who were already in route there and pick it up same day! That level of service and kind actions of going above and beyond left me speechless. So needless to say, it is Monday afternoon and I am writing this review with everything being fixed (also at a much more reasonable price vs the original company who quoted).
