“After starting a pool deck renovation, we realized we needed to move the junction box and install a new pool light and that it was a job better suited for an electrician. We called on a Monday afternoon to request an estimate, John came out Tuesday and gave us the estimate on the spot and his guys were out here Wednesday morning to begin work. I was totally kidding (mostly) when I asked if they could come the next day, but they made it happen and I couldn't be happier with their work! They even came in $270 less than the quote. Honest and dependable people are hard to come by these days, but we found it with these folks! Beyond satisfied and would recommend LaTour's over and over without hesitation!“

Austin and Chris (installers) came back today to balance the 1st floor unit after the temperatures were consistent. They did such a great job installing and adjusting the airflow upstairs that it was as perfect as any system could possibly be.
The 1st floor was a bigger challenge due to a poor house design but they met that challenge head on.
Austin and Chris thank you for taking this challenge with a positive attitude and tremendous work ethic from installing to balancing.

This company is providing above HVAC industry standards for improving efficiency of airflow for cooling /heating.

It’s not enough to have supposedly energy efficient HVAC units if the ductwork suppling the air is compromised. NC needs to change HVAC standards to keep up with our climate changes.

There’s a push for Solar to decrease the workload on the power grid. Look at what’s causing the workload- improperly installed supposedly efficient HVAC SYSTEMS.

I have owned numerous properties and dealing with horrible design issues in the ductwork, decreasing the airflow approximately 25-50% due to sagging, compromised flex ductwork

Chilsholm Service thank you for not only listening but HEARING my concerns on a less than 2 year home with horrible air flow , thermostat location and return air issues. Your motto should be exceeding the industry standards putting the customer first.

Thanks to Dwain and Todd for meeting to discuss my concerns and the plan TWICE. Thanks to the hard working, conscientious installation workers that kept me informed throughout the process.

Work completed: installing Ecobee WiFi thermostat, corrected the return air duct system upstairs; removed sagging, long runs of compromised flex ducts and replaced with insulated metal ducts and adjusted new dampers accordingly, replaced compromised plenum system; properly sealed boots; added air supply to one room and changed air supply vent to a better location in another room - provided an evenly cooled home and a very satisfied customer

There are numerous websites you can use to educate yourselves on how HVAC systems work and the terminology before hiring anyone to do work on your system; helped me understand the plan and design

Before and after photos of upstairs unit- before all the ductwork was in one congested byplenum so close that dampers were useless
Now a continuous round system along the attic with a shorter duct system branch to every room; dampers were adjusted that should be permanent for all seasons
The hottest day so far this year and the 1st day after completion and every room is comfortable!!“
