You were truly a miracle sent my way. A surgery date randomly became available two months out, and it happened to be the only date I was able to take after being told you didn’t have availability until the end of the year.
As this was my first surgery, surprisingly I was not nervous. No drains, no pain on postoperative Day 1, and your technique left me with beautiful smoothness, symmetry, and minimal-to-no bumps in my scarring. You listened to my concerns and requests while still making the appropriate professional judgments, and I truly appreciated that balance.
There was a little bump in the road when my T-zone decided to be angry with me, but it has finally healed after a couple hyperbaric treatments.
A special thank you to the NP who worked with me over the phone and helped me through the little hiccups while I was out of state. And to the nurse who humored me by popping Tylenol into my mouth the moment I heard footsteps post-anesthesia. I hadn’t even opened my eyes yet, and all I could hear was an angels voice telling me to swallow the meds.
Of course, I wish this had been covered by insurance, but I think I’ve won enough.
