Phylicia does an excellent job doing my wife and daughters hair in Edenton NC. It usually takes her right around an hour to do their hair. She is open to phone calls or text messages. She sends scheduled appointment emails too. Highly recommend her over other hair salons between Elizabeth City and Edenton NC.
Parking is limited and shared with salon next door, Laundromat and another store next door.

My family and I are so grateful for such wonderful service after we lost our home to a fire. They walked us through every step of the process. From the demo of the old house to handing us the keys. They took a lot of the stress off us and even argued with the insurance and mortgage company when needed. They made us feel like family!! I gave up on another local veterinarian in my town because they don't take appointments. The wait could be 6 minutes or 6 hours. Chowan offers appointments and the people are friendly, kind and professional. The 45 minute drive is MORE than worth it.

Alan Nixon and his crew did an OUTSTANDING Job re-plumbing my home due to poorly installed and faulty pex tubing used by the home builder. I contacted Alan Nixon, Alan came out inspected and surveyed my home, provided me with a quote the next day and work began one week later. His crew went above and beyond and had the job completed and passed inspection in 2.5 days. I will be calling them again when we have another plumbing project.

I really liked my hair cut, it's just to expensive for me.
I always give $10 or $15 for a tip, it was $65 to cut/trim my short hair to make it shorter.
She told me it needed to get wet, because I had an old perm that frizzed my hair, she suggested she could wash it.
Maybe I was charged for that, I don't know.

Got a pedicure here this morning. Michelle speaks very good English and gave a very gentle and thorough pedicure. The only thing I didn't like was there was no leg/foot massage included. You have to pay for the deluxe pedicure at 50.00 to get any kind of massage, which I'm not used to. For 35.00 I expected at least a 5 to 10 minute massage. Other than that, I was happy with the service!
