The price of the job was in line with other estimates I had gotten. (And I got a lot). We chose to go with SHS not because of the estimate but because of Rob. Rob Drumm put in a great deal of time and effort to make sure we were going to be happy with the final cost and finished product. Not only was he very knowledgeable about the work he was extremely patient with us considering it took us over a year to bite the bullet. My door took less time to arrive than I was originally quoted and was installed early. Brian installed my door and I can’t say enough good things about his work and professionalism. He found rotten wood under my old door and he spent all day meticulously and thoroughly repairing the damage before then installing my door that works perfectly and looks amazing!! “Where do I start? First of all if I could give 10 stars I would! From the first interaction with Richard the owner of the company for an estimate to Mike and Deon the installers was impeccable. They delivered everything they said they would and more. The professionalism from everyone is great. Mike and Deon put our windows in and not only cleaned up every piece of cardboard the windows was in, but cleaned the windows after they were installed. You can certainly tell that they all take pride in not just the business but every job they go on. Where else are you going to go and literally get a lifetime transferable warranty on windows? “I was in search on a new door for my front door. I looked at all of the usual places, and didn't find anything that I liked. I found HCR and I contacted them to give more info. Daniela come from HCR, she was very pleasant and very knowledgeable. We discussed many options. We talked about costume options. Being a mechanical designer myself I understood about the material, installation and all that it would take to choose, manufacturer and install the door. She told me of all the options. She also said that I could also choose any design for the glass, or make a sketch and it can be made on the glass. I chose to use an existing design and tweek it. I never told Daniela of my occupation, until after I signed off on the purchase. She never tried to upsell or steer me to something it didn't need. In my design, I wanted red in my design.
She advised me that red glass is more expensive. I replied that I knew. Un summary, my experience was excellent. Daniela was great to work with and honest. The door was installed with care and the precision that I hoped it would be. When I will need anything for the exterior of my house. I will surely call them first.“
