He’s very personable and actually talks with you, which makes the whole experience comfortable and enjoyable instead of awkward.
My 18-year-old son absolutely loves going to him and refuses to go anywhere else—and that says a lot! If you’re looking for someone who cares about their work and their clients, this is your guy.

I have been getting my nails done at Luminous Nails for about a year now. I usually make an appointment and the attendant’s are always aware that I am there. So even if they are working on someone else, they try to take me as soon as they can. I can truly say the staff is the kindness group I have ever met at a nail salon. I think I have been treated to just about everyone’s services and I have never left disappointed (btw, I am very picky about my nails). I have been to just about every salon in Picayune and many in Slidell and I finally found this “gem” 2 miles from my house. Many thanks!!

Ok so I love this place. For my 17th birthday, we had an appointment over at mavy nails for 1:30 that I had booked a TWO WEEKS in advance only to get there and them be so overbooked that there was a line of people waiting who already had been for like 30 minutes. We called up this place and they took me in like 5 minutes (got first pic). I was also very quite impulsive one day and needed graduation nails so again called up this place,, she was able to get me in within the next hour (got second pic). This lady working is so nice and efficient!!

Best Vet we have found. They treat your pets as if they were theirs and explain every step to you. The staff is very polite and knowledgeable.
Dr Alex and the staff are amazing! We rescued a 13 year old dog in December 2025 from a situation where the owner was not capable of caring for him. When we saw him, he had no use of any legs. He had pressure ulcers to the bone on both sides of his shoulders. He was in so much pain and we honestly thought it was the end but we wanted to see if there was anything we could do for this sweet baby just to give him a little love and care. Any other vet may have said euthanasia would be best but she saw how much we wanted to try and she did everything she could to set us up for success. It was a very hard road but Buddy is doing so well!! She's compassionate, caring, and you can tell loves her job.
I recommended a few other people to her and they all had the same great things to say!
