“I’ve stayed at the Brooking Park rehab center three different times & cannot say enough about the excellent care. Private rooms with bath, decorated as if a bed & breakfast. Same staff members assist on daily basis so they knew my needs & I didn’t have to learn new names each day.Physical therapists gave excellent instructions for rehab. When I had both knees replaced I was able toh reached my goals in 16 days. I walked with confident that I could manage steps & driving my own vehicle which is not an automatic. Went back to work in 30 days from operationBut let me tell you about the food it was delicious and I am picky. Ordered from a different menu each day but if it’s not to your taste they will fix what you do want or like. You may eat in your room, go to a formal dinning room with table cloths or eat in the lunch room.I did have grilled salmon & salads many day where I could sit alone or with other men & women who were also there for rehab as well as the long term care guests.It was truly a grand experience compared to staying at home & having a therapist show up 2 Times a week for 3 to 6 months!“
