The rubber buttons on my car's key fob had worn down and one of them had fallen off completely, preventing me from being able to hit the button inside the fob. I was able to hit it with a needle, but my fingers were too large to press it. I took it to the dealership to see what they could do, but they quoted me ~$500 for a brand new fob plus programming.

Since I knew the internals were still functional, I figured there might be some way to transfer them into a new shell. Mike was able to get a new key fob shell within a week, and today he transferred the internals and cut a new key for $50. Excellent work. The replacement fob looks and functions like brand new.“
