Saint Charles Lock and Key provides a great and highly recommended experience. They are very nice, prompt, and quick to get back to customers and schedule work. The service is reasonably and fairly priced, offering honest and excellent work. They are able to find and handle hard-to-find parts, cut and program keys, and replace or install locks, including smart keys and extra security devices. The owner offers invaluable advice, spends considerable time discussing options, and helps customers get the right type for their needs. Customers report they will not use anyone else after their first experience.
I needed a mailbox key as previous tenant left without leaving the key. Mike was here within two hours and completed the work in a timely and professional fashion. Price was fair and I was extremely pleased. Highly recommended.
Mike is amazing. We needed to get an e-bike lock popped at our shop (Juiced Wheels) so we could work on it. Another shop quoted me $250 and Mike was able to do it for $50. We know who we will be calling every time this issue pops up in the future! Thanks Mike!
Mike saved me ~$450.
The rubber buttons on my car's key fob had worn down and one of them had fallen off completely, preventing me from being able to hit the button inside the fob. I was able to hit it with a needle, but my fingers were too large to press it. I took it to the dealership to see what they could do, but they quoted me ~$500 for a brand new fob plus programming.
Since I knew the internals were still functional, I figured there might be some way to transfer them into a new shell.
