“We hired Bryan Casey Construction for a main floor refresh in our home which included refinishing current hardwood floors, new hardwood floors in a previously carpeted area, updated kitchen island and lighting throughout the main floor. The experience was ok and with any project there was good and bad, so we recommend with some watchouts. Julie has a great vision and ideas, which was a great bonus. Julie stretched us outside our comfort zone and her suggestions were all great for the refresh. We are happy with the finished result despite a few challenges.
A challenge of the project was a project manager change halfway through the project and communication. We were often reaching out for updates, being asked questions by sub-contractors because they didn't receive clear communication. Another challenge was a mistake by the team that resulted in needing to re-do a large section of the hardwood floors and extending the project. BCC did the right thing and fixed the problem, which we greatly appreciated.
Overall, we understand a project like this will have challenges and BCC was a good partner in this project.“
