DB Contracting LLC
“About 2 weeks ago we left for Wyoming. After a great trip with the family most would be upset to come back to "life". Fortunately, Kelsey and I were just the opposite and excited to return. Prior to leaving we left the care of our home to a local contracting company, DB contracting LLC. Dustin and his team had a tall task ahead of them...tearing out and installing new floors, painting and repair of our ceiling due to the house settling, remodeled stairs with carpet runners, new handrails and spindles, and a complete remodel of the fireplace... with a timeline of 2 weeks. As you can see in the attached photos, Dustin and his team knocked it out of the park. But thats only half the story... While we were in Wyoming, my wife received a call. Bpu claimed we had a water leak. We asked my mother in law to check the house. Dustin paused the remodel and walked the property looking for the leak. He observed a water spigot leaking that we allegedly had repaired by a big name plumbing company in the kc metro area. Dustin promised to get it taken care of and installed a new spigot and access point inside the house. If you look at the list above, what you won't notice is that we weren't going to paint our walls. Kelsey and I were going to do it when we returned in between navigating life with 4 boys, work and all the other adult tasks we have in life. So when we returned we were shocked when we saw the walls in our house were repainted. I asked Dustin why the walls were painted as he knew what our budget was prior to us leaving and our plans to paint the walls ourselves. Dustin response..."It didn't look right without the walls painted fresh". He also didnt charge us for the multiple coats of fresh paint and told us not to worry about it. We concluded the walk through and Dustin left. Kelsey and I were ecstatic as our house looks beautiful. I received a text from Dustin and he said he was sending his guys out the following day. He noticed several issues that he felt needed to be fixed. These also were issues not in the contract. Dustin didn't request a Google review....he didn't request me to post this on social media. But the care, attention to detail, and sacrifice of working long hours and spending time away from his family to make my family and I happy was what motivated me to put this post together. Some of you on my timeline know Dustin (Dee for those of us who played ball together).
