Recently my chihuahua became very ill, very quickly and they were so kind to fit him in that morning even though they were extremely booked. We did end up having to say goodbye to him and I cannot tell you how sweet everyone was to us and how compassionate they have been through this hard process. “City Paws is by far the best veterinary office I have ever been to. Not only are their services 10/10, affordable, and quick. It's the customer service and bedside manner that has REALLY been incredible. I have worked with Dr. Nguy throughout my year with CP but they also squeezed me in last minute with other vets who were also wonderful. It doesn't matter who is working front desk or is the vet tech, they are sweet, compassionate, and actually excited to see your animals. Going to the vet is soo stressful and scary, it really feels like a traumatic experience having to put your baby's life into another person's hands but I wholeheartedly trust them. Recently, my baby came in after being hospitalized at the ER vet over a weekend and I wasn't sure he would make it. I brought him in and they took care of him, observed him, adjusted his meds and less than a week later he is almost back to normal! They remember all my babies names and get genuinely excited when they come in and see them. The doctors don't rush you through talking about what is going on or make you feel stupid for asking questions. They do follow-up emails and calls that is so reassuring and helpful. I cannot express enough how good they have been and how much I appreciate being a client with them. I cannot recommend them enough!“

“Amber is always good with my dogs. I have one that can get aggressive but he loves the vet techs and Dr. Allen. They are so patient with him even when he is not a happy boy. They are all also very good with my deaf dog. She is always so nervous but, they are very understanding of her disability. And of course my 3rd pup just loves Dr. Allen. “My vet recommended AVS after my cat was diagnosed with Hyperthyroidism for the radioiodine treatment. Dr. Loyd and her staff were kind, straightforward, and answered all of my questions. Tech Janet was whom I spoke with at the consultation and during my cat's stay at AVS and she is a true gem! My cat is weary of anyone outside of our household and they were so kind and accommodating to him and providing me updates throughout his time there. It made me feel reassured that not only he was getting the treatment but also by people who truly care. Over a month post-procedure and my lil' buddies levels show that he no longer has Hyperthyroidism! Beyond grateful to the AVS team and that we have a facility in St. Louis that provides this treatment.“
