“I have met with 3 different vets at this medical center over the last 6 or 7 weeks. I recently switched Vets to be closer to our home. I had to make the decision to put my sweet baby to sleep. ALL of the staff, nurses and vets have been incredibly kind and patient over the last 7 weeks as we tried to navigate what was wrong with Izzy and how we might treat her. “I cannot say enough about this place. I normally would see Dr. Melissa who I have loved. She has always cared so much about my dog and never wrote her off just because of her age like other vets have. She always tried to come up with a solution to help her and putting her down was never brought up. I saw Dr. Julie for the first time a little over a week ago and she was also amazing. Last night we had to get in for an appointment and the only vet that was available was Dr. Katheryn. We had never seen her before so I was a little nervous not having Dr. Melissa. Come to find out my dog had cancer not just a cough and it had spread everywhere. I was not expecting to have to leave without my whole world in my arms that I've had for more than half my life. Dr. Katheryn was so kind, compassionate and she didn't even know my dog. I couldn't have asked for a better vet to be with me during the most difficult moment of my life. She explained everything in such a way that was comforting to my young children so they understood what was happening during it. The office closed while we were still there yet they never rushed us out of there. They told us to take as much time as we needed. Our vet tech, who I don't recall her name, was amazing as well and very accommodating. Thank you to all of you for treating my baby girl so good, being so genuine and caring. I will never forget each one of you and the way you helped care for her throughout this past year of her life. From the bottom of my heart, thank you ?“

“Thomas Raymond has been a patient since 2017. He's been fine healthwise regardless of his age. Every time Thomas Raymond gets innoculations, he uses his signature scream. We can all ignore it now. And we laugh. This year his January 3, 2022, annual visit found kidney problems, so they switched him to a Purina kidney diet dry dog food. I was shocked that he liked it. I'm familiar with this KD situation. It happens in older dogs. Thomas Raymond is 16. (My Dad was a veterinarian, and I worked in his hospital.) Then, following a groomer visit February 22, the groomer at Canine Cottage told me his anal glands needed to be excised (squeezed). There are internal and external anal glands. Only the vet can take care of the internal anal glands. So, I called Veterinary Care Center immediately, and got Thomas Raymond an appointment for 9 a.m., February 23. I took him, waited in the parking lot, and he was escorted out anal-gland-free-of-anal goo!!!!! What a wonderful response to my situation! I so appreciate their perpetual friendliness to owners and animals. And their accommodation to Thomas Raymond's situation.“
