[solidcore] is a workout studio in St. Louis Park, Minnesota, offering a unique resistance-training workout inspired by Pilates. Using their specialized equipment, [sweatlana], the studio provides a challenging and controlled environment to target the upper body, lower body, and core, building muscular strength and endurance. Each exercise is designed to push participants to their limit, breaking down muscles to achieve unbelievable results. The studio fosters a community spirit, encouraging individuals to "fail together" and unleash their inner strength. With a focus on slow and controlled movements, [solidcore] provides an intense and effective workout experience, suitable for those looking to take their fitness to the next level.
The class always goes by super fast because you are just focused on pushing yourself as far as possible. They just put up a campaign that says "failing together" and that is exactly why I love this workout. You push to your limit in a very controlled way and you feel stronger for it.
I'm so glad I have Solidcore try, it is now a weekly exercise for me and I have become stronger and fitter thanks to this workout. I signed up for ClassPass about a year ago and one of the recommended exercises for me is Solidcore. I started going and haven't stopped! I find that the exercises are cheaper through ClassPass than a membership directly through Solidcore, but at the same time I can't always get into the classes I want to take because there is a limited amount of ClassPass spots available. One small negative is how loud the music is at this location. I get that I am about a decade older than most individuals who work out here but I just don't see the benefit of super loud music that forces the coach to basically yell.
Hardest (in a Great way) most effective workout in the Twin Cities. I am a former competitive road cyclist, state champion mountain biker & am always seeking ways to sculpt a great body and this is the winner. More effective than biking 200+ miles a week... can you believe it??? I'm Not looking to be big in the upper body like many workouts will make women look (crossFit, Orange theory). I think women should be more bottom heavy, slim waisted and more like a "sculpted ballerina" to have an ideal figure. But hey, that's just me.I noticed some of the negative reviews about solidcore are because the workouts too hard for a newbie. Yes, it is. And that's why I like it....read full review
